Hi Louie,
Glad you're having a good journey. Have an enjoyable stay with Dennis !

I did some engine work on it before he moved to Austin.

Rolling east at 4AM. Beats traffic and a lot of the desert heat. Couldn't sleep anyway, in spite of the drugs.

I'll be the white-haired guy in the black S4. Will check in again at Barstow, breakfast and P stop.

Bill, are you alive yet?

Well let's see if my rain dance works like it always does...Rocket is all washed and waxed ready for the drive. Seems like every time I spend this much time cleaning her, it rains.

Looks like we'll have 4 Sharks departing from here in the AM.

Can't wait for tomorrow

Jim and Sue, Kevin, Dr Bob and Bill Ball all made to Alamogordo safely.

We'll all head out @0600 and hope to be there @5PM.

Underway at 6:30AM from Alamogordo, but first an early breakfast for the sharks. We're back to "Plan A", over the montains on us82 then east to I-20.

Well, It was a great drive with great people...no bad weather and no tickets It was awesome to have 5 Sharks in Alamogordo at the same time I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to share the experience with Dr Bob, Bill Ball, Kevin, and Jim and Sue. Talk about a class act! We all took seperate routes back West and some are still enroute to there long trips back. Be safe out there!!

A great trip, especially during the caravan across NM and TX. I'm only a third of the way back home, but might make it home tomorrow or, rather, early the following morning.

Thanks to Darien, Jim & Sue, Dr. Bob and Kevin for a REAL funride.

Here's a few shots I made of the crew on the trip out...

First 2 are the meet-up in the Alamogordo Chili's Parking lot at 0600 Thurs morning.
Then a couple shaky ones while in the twisty's on hwy 82 heading up to 9000 ft elevation.
Then a few at our lunch stop in Post, Tx at the Sonic.

What a great drive

We're in Boise tonight, with luck we will be home tomorrow night. Had a great drive today from Farmington NM back through Moab and Salt Lake City, then interstate from there.

More crappy overcrowded roads, us-191 in southern Utah...
