"I see you've used the old, "make them wait for the 928 watches so the buyers get more excited" ploy. I must congratulate you, very well done, very well done indeed!"

well my experience with courier delivery is this, they could deliver as late as 4-5-6 pm. so lets give it some more time. Chris has probably got experience with couriers, he probably knows his delivery guy by first name(I know mine as Sandyeeeee). He has probably already called for a delivery update to see if it is in transit, at the depot, or on the truck for delivery.

OR

he is busy photographing a really cool watch, and getting ready to post photos this afternoon???

Don't forget this has to come through customs! ANYTHING can happen there! That info is rarely calculated in to UPS/FedEx's delivery estimates. It took 4 months for me to get a watch from Italy earlier this year!

Patience gentlemen... we are in the home stretch now! I wonder how long it will take to get production models in when Chris says "go" to them!

Customs probably has it in a bomb disposal unit waiting for the ticking to stop

It is auto wind. If it just sits there, it will evenually stop ticking.

You never know what the Germans had in mind when they stuck that ETS movement in there.

Maybe it has a 10-day power reserve like in the Panerai PAM270.

Andy,

I doubt that... While this is an extremely nice watch it is no Panerai nice...well, not Panerai cost anyway. I love some of the PAM Ferrari watches...very nice.

With it being Nov 22 today, and no prototype yet. I was just curious on the production schedule. Was there a timeline given for how long it will take to manufacture 100 off these. I know that with todays technology you would just have to send an email for the 'OK PRODUCE'' and do a wire transferfor the funds. But with the production and shipping schedule, just wondering if there is an update on the process. Earlier it was mentioned that dec 25 was attainable, but I'mjust thinking that hashas been moved back considerably.

Please dont read this wrong, I'm still waiting anxiously. Just looking for an update.......

I would hesitate to ask for ANY type of production schedule before we've seen the first proof copy. You never know...it may be perfect, and it may need changes. Any answer you would get at this time would just be a guestimate and nothing ANYONE could guarantee.

Not that I am not just as anxious as the next guy.

The current status is that the prototype proof copy is IN TRANSIT and was held up in US Customs.
