Thank you... group effort, I started it, Chris came on with the manufacturer and RKD did the actual photoshop design work for us that made it possible! Looking forward to prototype VERY SOON!

Should the "base ends" of the hands be red?

Yup, just like the needles on your cars dials...I think the red drops below the mount point on the earlier cars... I have been driving the GTS mostly of late, but it is what it is...WAY, WAY, WAY to late to change it now anyway.

Default Wrist Watches

James,

I just checked both my cars and you are right. I never noticed that before. Probably because the needles go all the way through the center. That would be hard to do on a watch though.

Chris,

I assume you mean the prototype next week and not production?

Can't wait to get mine. By the way Chris, I chose 60 because that's the year I was born.

Thanks for all the effort and good work by everone involved.

Denny

Can't wait, I received a $600 gift card from work for going over 20 years. Guess what I'm using it on. I had a hard time choosing between 60 (year born) and 87 (Strosek). Went with the 928 year.

I love the final version. That is a great looking watch and has completely avoided the look-a-like curse of so many watches.

Will you be going ahead with the order if you have less than 60 pre sold?

I love it! And yes I can't wait, just billed a quick side job that is marked for this watch. Chris I can't remember, I know there's the display back and it will have the edition # engraved, but was there any additional room to personalize the watch?

The order was finalized months ago
If everyone here flakes, I still own 100 Limited Edition 928 watches
I will sell them, I will sell them all, no doubt in my mind...Wait till the live pics...Just wait

Members here are getting the watch for $595 and we will be putting a time limit on that once we really get the ball rollin.
The watch will be selling for $729 from that point on

The caseback is pretty much full. The only other customization is on the side of the case. It can be engraved, but I never opened up that can of worms
Price would jump quite a bit. But I am sure someone local can engrave the side of the case (Maybe with a VIN # or something like that).

Once my hands are on the prototype and everything is up to snuff

Then it's payment time
