When new, that liner is very flexible and easy to remove from the receiver.

Hi Nicole,

I built this one out of hand layed fiberglass. I got the idea from some old testing by Louie Ott and Ken Porken's use of a flexible rubber of some sort. Took me about 40 hours of sanding and laying up new FG. The Porsche hood crest is just to finish it off. Have not done any temperture comparisons, but it's almost always just warm to the touch after running, where as the aluminum piece I had before that would burn your hand after a good run.

IR temp gun.

Maybe after good run with or without cooling chin for the intake oval horns, pop filter cover and take temp of the air filter.

Smile splitter me timbers too

I second, third, fourth, or whatever, my interest in a front splitter particularly for a S model. (Although I would consider one for my 2 89's also....)
