If you make a race style splitter for the 928 similar to the 951 model I would be VERY interested

+2 On the rear speakers surrounds. There are two types: a squarish one for 87-89 and a round one for 89-95 (round was part of the 10-speaker system optional in 89, standard afterwards.)

These aftermarket surrounds should be about 3/4" - 1" deeper than stock to allow mounting of speakers that require more mounting depth. If you make 'em and they are nice and not stupidly expensive you'll probably sell a lot of them.

How about repro(but stronger than original) replacements for the plastic section of the door panels?

I have a spare pair of '89+ 6.5" woofers to use for measurements/profiles and will ship them anywhere if you will ship 'em back unharmed. I was going to cut out the speakers to use them as bases but an extra 0.5-1" in depth would be fantastic.

That's a great idea!!! How often have we talked about wanting a better solution - one that lasts?

Maybe it would better be made of two pieces, so it's easier to install.

In any case, it would be a great upgrade for all 928 models.

maybe a better intake over the radiator so we are not picking up hot air from radiator

Like this one! I'd also buy the rear wheel well liners for a GTS!

Can we all agree on a speaker holding enclosure that takes the place of the tooler holder at the back? It could kind of bulge out to hold two 8 inch woofers?

Or a plastic reproduction of the fiber door panel?

+1 on this. Also would love a 2 or 3- hole gauge cluster like the one in Jim M's avatar, to replace the ashtray, finished to match the factory surface. A-pillar gauge clusters are not my favorite. I have a spare ashtray and console insert/shifter surround if that would help for measuring....

I vote for the mirrors. Doesn't have to be power (I'm the only one that drives my car and I can set 'em and forget 'em). The OB 'flag' style square mirrors are REALLY heavy and not very aerodynamic (you can tell from all the bug marks on a lot of OBs). Something more stylish, aerodynamic and lighter would be great.

I'm all for a center console insert that would not only move the existing A/C, radio, vents out a little ( at least flush with the surround ) but extend up and over the dash for a place for NAV screen....not only would this be an updated look, it would give you more room behind the instruments in the console to work when needed....Maybe even raise the console at the shifter location and side box high enough to have cup holders inside the side box ( between the seats ) or slide out some how as well.

GTS rear fender liners , desperately needed as the factory ones are way to expansive
