Well........ post the VIN, option codes, some pictures and what ever else you can find out about the car and maybe we can figure the actual POS factor. Hell if it runs it's got a low POS factor in my book. I paid $1,100.00 for the 79 Euro with the Bilstiens, Borla, and M29/11. Sure I had to tear the entire K-jet system apart and put it back it together, but now it runs great.

It is mainly the front and rear bumper covers and lights. Rear wing should be considered too. If the 81' has the rubber lip spoiler that could be an issue to remove as the side sections extend to the quarter window trim if I'm not mistaken. Cost depends on where you source the parts. If you find someone parting out a car with the newer covers you may do ok. If you go through a parts supplier you will probably pay more.

its tempting, it did have some noticeable body filler in the left rear quarter panel, no rubber wing, but screw holes where it looks like there was a different wing that has been removed from the car, silver/chrome color metal trim around the windows, a tore up interior, automatic, said it runs, 13x,xxx miles, a light blue kind of slate blue color, phone dials...

be nice, you guys, some of us are learn-as-we-go types on these 928s. So far i've done the brakes, windows, numerous electrial fixes, rebuilt the instrument cluster, intake/vacuum lines, and am in the home stretch on the timing belt/water pump/seals etc etc. So yes it might be a $10k car worth $5k someday but i will have learned a lot and had some fun in the process! (I paid $700 for this one)
