1981 928 - can you tell me about it?

Why convert? If you like the S4 look, get an S4, cheaper and will look better. Converted cars are easy to spot, they never fit right.
Stay OB and have fun with it. That's the nice thing about a car that will never be a concours queen, or GTS collectible, you can do your own thing and not worry about other's asspinions.
Just rice it up with a big wing...and cannards..and vortex generators out of a captain crunch cereal box. Whatever, it'll be yours to have fun with and learn about wrenching on the shark.

No flares yet. Soon I hope. I do have side skirts that go all the way to the back wheel well and up about a quarter of the door. Looking at Otts or 928MS flares to blend in.

guess what everyone, i know you all really care...
i bought it! for $500...
the seller drove it home behind me and i actually like the looks a lot of the 1981 body, even without any wing or lip it looks nice.... some nice 19" wheels will make it look sweet.

i kind of like just leaving it standard too...
now i just have to learn how to wrap leather or alcantra and how to become an electrician...
