Beautiful build! Carl's wide body kit is really growing on me now.

Did you make the front splitter or is it aftermarket? I would replace my stock S front spoiler with that in an instant.

i didn't make that myself. It's a ( cheap ) aftermarket 928 splitter. It weights nothing and saved me alot of time ! My idea was to rebuild it with a flat plate underneath , sticking out as the real splitters , but we wil see... perhaps it's just right as it is.... i will take a pic from under the car ... it's flat but has also 2 extra grooves for pushing air towards the brakes... i had to mount it with those old school rubber fasteners so i can demount it in secondes , after which i can demount the hole nose , as on Carls car. I see in pics that his splitter stays on the car , even with the nose away. Can look for that to ...this winter... when i have time

Thanks! Do you have a brand name or link for the splitter. I really like the look of it and would like one too.

what a cool project. Love the front splitter, but you are going to want to extend it with some CF later as you start playing with the handling. that wing will make you do a wheelie without it!

like the carbs! what do you expect the hp to be? is the base engine the M21-11?

I also like the bumber strut, cut out bumper light holders. very smart! although with scots 82 5 liter, we just mounted PIA lights in that area with some simple brackets. your idea still has the bumper shocks so if you do have contact you can protects some of you "Stuff".

nice work. cant wait to see some video and hear the roar!

Very nice. Got to love that classic look, with the 48IDA'a sticking out of the hood.

Where in Belgium? I built a nasty little stroker engine for a customer in Belgium, for his GTS.

ohh... i tought for rear brake cooling , but the wide tyres are close to the inner wall... they are "free" blowing" on the curved fenders top side , so air is pushed down ... ofcourse eventually i can take some air of it to fresh the cabin... so , yes, a bit show, a bit cooling ( if it helps ? )

Thanks Mark ! Yes, the idea is building underneath the "air splitter" a plate which can be adjusted. All must be detacheble as i want to use the car on the street for some historic rallys...
Yes, a M28-11 . HP ? soon on a dyno to test and playing with jets and venturis....

And the lights holders are the OEM bumper on which i cut away all not needed to just hold the lights themselfs. Those are then mounted with custom made aluminium struts, not the OEM schocks .... those are so heavy...

Video is sure comming !

I'm from Maldegem, that's halfway between Ghent and Bruges.
