For all of whom, who think I am now a drug addict piece of ****, you need to be real, you have no idea who I am and are basing opinions off of others views, which in my experience, never turns out to be right. This is a legal and widely prescribed drug that I bet the majority of you have taken at some strength, it is in nearly every prescribed pain medication I ever see, its everywhere. Don't be so quick to judge, you might regret it.

Well, let me help 'splain my behavior principles. first, I'm an adult, kids are - well, kids. We no more give them jobs, families, driving, flying, money privileges that we do pets. The world of kids and the world of adults is a different world. When I've lived the 50(or 40, or 25) years on this planet, and made it safely out of puberty, if I want a bourbon and a cigar, then I have one, or more. Comparing kids drug use to that of adults is like comparing school to work. If my kid doesn't go to school he gets stupid. If I don't go to work, we get tossed on the street, the state takes away my kids, I don't eat and become a bum. Different strokes.
I think 'beat the **** out of them' is a bit of a stretch, but yes, we do chastise and punish kids for trying to assume the pleasures of adults without the concomitant responsibilities of adults. For me, I don't smoke, but I have a beer often, and once in a while I have something harder. I've told my kids 'if you want a drink of alcohol, tell what you want and I'll get it for you, in this house, under adult supervision'. Under NO circumstances are they to drink liquor outside the house, or even hang around kids who do. Both of my kids have declined, saying beer tastes horrible, and so does Vermouth(I have yet to give them a whiff of Drambuie, in a warm glass, with an iced Vodka chaser).
Sorry for the off topic rant, but this has come up before, and there is a completely logical reasoning for the double standard. Kids are not adults, and don't share the same world as adults.

Hope to make this brief, because this ISN"T the topic of this thread as Bigs has pointed out. In a few words Doc, I don't agree with you in this case. I could have fun all day dealing with your comments, but why? You have confirmed your attitude. Self destructive behaviour is still self destructive behaviour no matter how else you try to rationalize it, and a bad example for younger people who may look to you for guidance. Reaching a certain age doesn't instantly qualify anyone for reversal of sane, rational behaviour. I have known very young people who were more adult and responsible than most adults I meet; engaging in behaviour that represents self abuse and has been proven to threaten others because of the privilege of age is absurd. The reason privileges are denied is to allow people time to develop discretionary mature reasoning and self control before lifting prohibitions. Is it also because we don't trust our own shortcomings that we fear our children will fall into the same patterns of faulty rationalization? The point is they learn by example, as Bigs has pointed out, not hypocritical failure to self regulate. It is not the children that are making a mess of the world they are destined to inherit. Any way you cut it, you are the role model for your children. Period. And that discretion is not as dependant on age as you and some others would wish were the case.
We will never agree on this point Doc. So let's let it die. We all know the success of prohibition (of any sort) is to favor the prohibitors. I know you are intelligent enough to realize that, for we have discussed this point cloaked in another guise.
But, hey, as I said, what do I know about this or any other subject? I have only lived a few years in this world. I have only been almost killed TWICE by "responsibly aged" adults, one of whom was a judge, who were so drunk they didn't know what was going on. Never by children, some of whome drank alcohol. Age didn't seem to improve the judgement of those adults enough to protect me from them. In fact I have experienced abuse of minors by adults in a drunken stupor when the minors did nothing more harmful than exercise curiousity; at times this abuse threatened the lives of those minors. Great examples of "adults" living in a different world of "responsibility" and serving as an example for children who, if they survived, would probably live to repeat the pattern, though they would then, by your definition, be in possession of the rational and privileged skills which you claim only comes with age. ****. Pure ****.
Nothing personal. I just will not agree with you.

How about this for drug user, **** YOU. You have no god damn right to call me a drug user and want to "expose me". I was invloved in a accident at work where I took a vehicle for a test drive, the throttle stuck, and I crashed into a palm tree on the property, the air bag exploded on my hand and broke it into 50 pieces, I suffered severe whiplash and paid a visit to a hospital as a result. I was sent to a "specialist" who specializes in getting people addicted to this drug, I had no idea what it was or what life would be like after it. I have been clean for awhile now and plan to take legal action with my doctor.
Drug addict, scam artist, con........ why don't you come out from behind the computer, meet me, and say this **** to my face?

I understand that it doesn't count as Kie giving Ross a "gift."
But it's still cash available to fund part or all of the trip!
And if you add another $100 gift, that brings our grand total up to:
$1537.00
Im sure he just wants to clear this up. i am sure he will post the expences soon. A guy drove my 928 home from Napa CA.

Ya know son, you need to learn when to keep your mouth shut.
Your reply to this whole thread shoudl have been this "Bigs, I am really sorry, I don't know what happened. I will call the hotel and if i can not get it resolved I will pay for it. Very sorry and thank you for the help in the past. Please be assured i will take care of this."
That would have spoke leaps and bounds and maybe even made people rethink you... But this ef-you and ef this and this place sucks just digs you in deeper.. THINK BOY THINK!

But his actual response is exactly what I anticipated. If you stop and think about it, he's verifying everything I've stated about typical drug user behavior.
