Bigs, I think you did absolutely the right thing here. If "Project Whitefox" was allowed to stay in this forum for the duration of his little escapade, so should your response to the abuse you and others took at the hands of that little punk.
I think he spent a little too much time fussing over the details of getting money out of complete strangers, who were too good for their own good, and ran straight up the horse's *** in the end.

This thread is a nice read ,but its funny how quickly people turn tides, some of the same people that were defending Ross, flaming me and posting immature posts in my "music in 928" are now taking there shot at Ross for something that had already been expected. I really do find it highly entertaining that you choose to "expose" the younger generation as the root of all evil in modern society.
Yet, I've seen people who are older ,so by their definition are mature being part of the older "generation" post the most immature posts I've seen an online forum as to ridicule the fact about my age or that i sometimes write my posts too quick. The part that gets to me and is really fueling me to write this one post is the fact I work for my money, my 928, my repairs, and yet I get the same treatment your giving little Ross here.
I never deceived anyone or stolen yet , like I stated I get treated in pretty much the same fashion as any other young guy I'm 18 so I must be a ****-up in your eyes I am a immature little kid who does drugs, drinks irresponsibly and drives like a lunatic. I won't say I'm perfect ,but why the overall generalization age/race,

Nice guys do not finish last, those that have low self esteem finish last. 99.9% of the people on this list are nice guys, why do you think they tried to help Ross. You haven't ****-up in your 18 years of life, congratulations for that. I hope you continue to be a good person but, you are not going to get a atta boy in life for being a good person, it is expected of you. Try to give a young person advice and they turn it around into a "why are you disrespecting me" thing. Trust me on this forum ones age has nothing to do with how they are perceived, the content of ones posts takes care of that.

OK. I think I'll lock this thread. It's been up just about 24 hours exactly. I don't think there's much more that needs to be said.
If I receive any positive developments from Ross or the hotel, I'll post them in a new thread.
That way, if Ross does the right thing, his responsible behavior will be displayed just as publicly as this thread - without readers rehashing everything in this thread.
But I reserve the right to re-open this thread if I receive any further unpleasant surprises.

If he is hooked he needs help with it. I hope he gets it. I agree 110% he does need to grow up a bit. That is seen here with his responses. He is headed for death, prison or rehab.... I hope its rehab.

1. Ross' original thread which garnered him so much generous help and support appeared in this forum - and was responded to primarily by 928 owners. Therefore, that is the group that I felt primarily needed to be warned.
2. Posting this thread in the 928 Forum rather than OT was actually an act of kindness, I think. I suspect it will receive significantly fewer views here than if it were in the OT Forum.
I'm not trying to merely drag Ross through the mud here. Although if that happens, I think it's his own doing.
I'm simply trying to warn others of the dangers of helping him - without screaming it from the rooftops of OT.
And I'm perfectly happy if Randy V. wants to lock this thread or send it to the abyss at any time. I'll let him make that determination, since others may still wish to read and respond - and, with any luck, Ross may also come back with a positive, responsible response.

I'm concerned for the people who frequent this 928 list. This kind of drama just leaves a bad mark on an otherwise great automotive 928 specific forum. I like to keep it great, and exciting, yet drama free. I know there are people who have chose not to frequent this forum because some of the content can be less than desireable. IMHO this thread qualifies.
Please don't get me wrong, I know your intentions are good. And I know you got screwed by a real a-hole.
But as far as I see it. You are adding fuel to a perfectly good fire. Lets not burn the house down.
