I never deceived anyone or stolen yet(?) , like I stated I get treated in pretty much the same fashion as any other young guy I'm 18 so I must be a ****-up in your eyes I am a immature little kid who does drugs, drinks irresponsibly and drives like a lunatic. I won't say I'm perfect ,but why the overall generalization age/race,

Whatever, Immaturity is a sickness I hope you get better soon and you know who you are I don't want to call you out.

Bigs, sorry this happened to you ,you seem like a very caring person. One thing I've learned in the 18 years of life is that nice guys really do finish last you have to be a cold hearted ******* cause the rest of the world is and they are opportunists.
Joey,

Not sure why you're throwing in with this bug, but I don't think anyone has treated you like this. Ross screwed up and cost some kind people quite a bit of money and isn't owning up to it or even offering to accept responsibility. Ross is the one this is aimed at. A few comments were made (in jest, I believe) about the 'younger generation', but I don't think anyone claimed that ALL younger people are drug addicted scam artists.

This is a tight group that looks out for each other and yes, when there's blood in the water the sharks do circle. By and large though it's like any other group: Own up to your mistakes and try to make good and you'll be forgiven a world of mistakes and indiscretions. This is exactly what Ross has failed and in fact refused to do and all Bigs wants to do is shine some light on it so no one else gets screwed.

Ron_h, we've danced back and forth once or twice and I bow to your intellect, tenacity and consistency. But until you have kids I don't think you should offer up advice on child rearing. JMPO (just my parental opinion).

Edit: Whoops I type too slowly. Lockdown in 3,2,1...

I'll let Randy decide one way or the other.

I am puzzled about why the lower portion of the Thread Tools menu doesn't show up on my computer...

I don't get that option either, Shark. It used to be that you could edit your (first? last?) post and find a lock button in the options at the bottom of the page. But I haven't seen that option lately either.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm now running Vista...

Seems like I used to see that option when I was running XP.

Unfortunately, wisdom like that is laughed at by the self appointed demigods.

I just remember that I didn't care - about anyone, myself, or the future. I was mad at my father, but I took it out on everyone around me. I didn't know how to deal with it.

I did turn out ok, and I am extremely proud of that, because I am sure people had similar thoughts about me - that I was headed for prison, death, etc.

Then one day, I just woke up and turned it around. I got over my anger. I sucked it up, grew up, worked hard, married a saint of a woman, got a couple of lucky breaks, and here I am 20 years later.

I wish the same for Ross, 20 years from now.

I think Perry is onto something. I know I used to see thread locking tools around here...I hadn't looked for one for a while, but then last week I was trying to find it to lock my cross posts about the NJ run we're trying to get together, and I couldn't. Off to sign in as Kevin, see if he's got the lock tool as a User.

Maybe it's an extra cost option!

Maybe we didn't check the "Performance Package" box.
