SCCA ITE RACES at SEARS POINT-Infinion Raceway August 30th 08
Just saw the entry list. I think the stroker went in at JUST the right time.
2 Competition Coupe SPEED GT Vipers
2 Panos factory race cars
2 supercharged S2000's with near 400rwhp
the 550hp camaro
475hp C5
the super quick M3
Some mustangs , RX7s, etc and an old 928 with a "few" modifications. along with others making up the 41 car field as it stands today.
Should be very interesting!

Hmmm-
Wife and kids and MIL are going to SD for labor day weekend, they're taking the minivan. I smell a Teutonic roadtrip..........

Yes, Monday is a qualifying and race. race is after 2pm and qual is in the AM.
(Ill post a link)
Sunday it is one race around 10:30am. Monday its race 2 after noon time.
I was just doing some strategy thinkng. I really dont have to win the race, I just have to beat Rob in the Vet. I would be nice to win though, but I really didnt want to go all out in race 1 due to questions about temp, clutch holding power etc. I might just run at the power setting that i normally run at and just go for a hot lap toward the end of the race. Hard to say If Ill be able to hold back!
Race 2 should be all out after the half way point. If It lasts and proves dependable enough. It should be ok. In fact, ive run the car for the last week and it hasnt lost a drop of water! I think this might have proved that i had a slight head gasket leak before

This is World Challenge for the non-millionairs!
There are something liike 8 WC cars and near 17 entries in ITE. Without the new motor, id be lucky to run a top 10 position!
knock knock knock. Let's hope it stays together!
