08/04 - UPDATE TO ROUTE: Same meeting place and time, given below. However, we will reverse the route, heading out Tesla to I-5S to Del Puerto Canyon to Mines and back to Livermore for lunch a Magoo's Pizza.
We will meet at 9 am at the Starbucks (closed or not) at:
223 South Vasco Road (Las Positas at Vasco)
Livermore, California 94550

Okay sounds good! Let me just wake my girlfriend's parents' neighbors up at 6 AM when I leave for there. 
It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive I think from San Rafael to Livermore.

If you think it is a 2 1/2 hour drive from San Rafael to Livermore, you are either driving a three cylinder Yugo, or taking about every backroad there is between San Rafael to Livermore.
Given the hour, on a weekend, I'd guess 1 hour to 1:15 tops... and even that's at Camry speeds...

I'd heard they were opening in Livermore, sorry to have not thought of it.
Last time I went by Magoo's about 4+ months ago, I'd heard that they were simply remodeling. Too bad they dropped out.
Despite the lunch venue challenge, this should be a good run

Bummer! Tammy's car will probably still be in the paint shop then. I just secured a replacement bumper cover and need to either get the hood fixed or replaced. We'll have to see if we can make it. I don't want to embarrass everyone by showing up in the 911 again!
