Have fun kids! I'll be in my garage putting my wife's '89 together and trying to get it road worthy for the upcoming Pony Express 130 next weekend ....

Hopefully, I'll get it back from the body shop tomorrow. Have to replace the front bumper cover, hood, front spoiler, install roll bar, belts, wheels with new tires, etc.

That should keep me busy for a few hours!

So can we get some gas before we go? I'm going to burn half of my tank just getting there tomorrow morning.

There is gas on the right hand side of Vasco just before you get to Starbucks.

I'm still working on the car, so I won't be able to make it. Still got to get the AFR
in a workable range. Gave up on the speedometer (new sensor didn't do the trick ),
so I'll be running the Pony Express without a speedo or odometer, good thing I've got
the GPS...

Wish I could make it, but I have a previous engagement. Have fun all, and keep the shiny side up!

OK, we are set. Lunch has been moved to Melo's at 4433 1st. Maps will be provided.

For any who are interested, it is likely the first light-up of Mark Kibort's new stroker motor will be in the afternoon tomorrow. It's about 50 miles to his house in Saratoga. I will be going down, figuring to hit his place about 2. All 928'ers are welcome to join the fun. I'll have direction to Mark's with me tomorrow.

See you at 9am at Starbucks 223 S. Vasco Rd. Livermore.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in the morning

Charley B can I use this fun ride to return your big A$$ torque wrench? let me know. No worries if you don't want it rattling around in your GTS

The air pump on the Euro froze up on the way home tonight. What is the downside of running without it, and how long would it take for a problem to manifest? I have stock cats (well, stock for the body) and a magna flow muffler.

Matt, I can handle the monster wrench as long as you keep it until the end of the ride.
