Kie,

I have not seen her, but I keep looking! She is welcome ANYTIME she wants to come hang out w/ Blue82! YEA BABY! Prefer a time when my wife is out though! LOL! I am going to hell for saying that! LOL! She is in good hands... errr...the car that is... HA HA! :>

I have already made entries into the book and took care of yours for you, but without the great detail of the original owner! That was just CRAZY OCD (man after my own heart)! Actually he had probably had an IRS audit in the past and knew he didn't want to go through that again so he took all needed steps for that to go smoothly if it had to happen at all!

Will, yea, Porsche never chromed because it weakens the wheels, and for whatever reason they never went polished either on the 928's, but this is an odd anodized color... Not platinum and not gold, those are the two common flat dish wheel colors you see... As noted this is more Pewter.

I had already used Leatherique on the car before the post asking about it had even come up... Like I said, I am a bit OCD when it comes to my cars, but I am getting better and kind of letting things go a bit longer than I should. When I get manic though, just stay out of the way! Ha Ha!

James,

If you need a Pewter match, I have a rather large specimen in that color you are already familiar with. She's waiting on some garage "alone time" with me so we can get to business making adjustments and improvements! Let me know if I can help in some way.

James,
Awesome snag my friend. Could not be going to a better home. Can't wait to see her in the flesh.
I have a pretty nice set of flats but they are staggered - 7 in the front and 8 in the rear IIRC.
Talk to me off line if interested.
Roger

Yes, that one is in a good home now. It really couldn't have gone to a more caring 928 guy.

Except maybe ME!!!

Rog, PM sent...

Everyone else, thanks for the kudos! It is a great car and I am so happy to be the new care taker and so thankful that Kie decided not to keep her for himself! LOL!

Congratulations, James. Glad to see Austin has another low-mileage 928 around.

Won't be too long before you need that extension on the garage...

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I look forward to sharing my new pride and joy with all of you! Come to 3rd Coast in Nov and have BBQ and good fellowship at my house then!

Don, I have been thinking about it. Since I have the hanger across the street I am not worried YET, but if I ever find an airplane then that will really limit my ability to park cars over there! The next step it to go UP. I have room for some of the single arm lifts in the garage so those will be next...

THEN will come the garage expansion project. Right across from the current six will go 6 - 8 more that are double deep (the extra depth for my big end door for parking my R/V across the back) and it will probably have a lounge area at one end a bathroom at the other end and storage above the cars (open at the back of course again, for the height of the R/V)... That is the long term plan anyway...

Now where is that freaking winner lottery ticket...I know I have it here somewhere!!!

Bump
Lots of great Blu82 pictures and a great story. I somehow missed some of the middle pages but caught up today while the office was empty.

Man, I was out in BLUE82 today getting the inspection done... I LOVE THIS CAR!!! WOW!!! It attracts people like a moth to flame! EVERYONE loves this car and wants to know about it.

It smells like BRAND NEW, everything works like brand new, it is tight, fast and handles great! WHAT A CAR!!!

Here is a pic of BLUE82 in the wild! It is a rare site, but you get to see it here first!!!
