Default meeting time and place

Well we seem to have a fair amount of people coming up for the sale, this is good. I would like to have everyone meet in the Hardees parking lot, for those of you that were able to attend the memorial service, it will be where the final group ended up before we took the jaunt to Saxton. The parking lot has a Hardees on one side and a hotel on the other, it is a fairly good size parking lot so I think we may all be able to fit. I will be there just after 9:00 and we will be pulling out at 9:30. If anyone has any problem, or thinks that they may, you can email me at pappysru@yahoo.com and I will try to work with you to ensure that you are not left high and dry in Breezewood. Doc's shop address is 100 Commerce Drive Saxton Pa 16678 for those of you that prefer to GPS your way there. Thanks----Troy

Default payment

I just talked to the lawyer today, the sale as follows; Cash is the preferred method of payment, checks will be accepted, HOWEVER on any large purchases the estate reserves the right to approve the check before allowing any items to leave the premises. IF THE GTS DOES SALE, IT WILL NOT LEAVE ON SATURDAY WITH THE PURCHASER. A DOWN PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE LAWYER, ON SATURDAY, WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE WITHIN 10 DAYS. The title will then be released, and the car can be picked up, or arrangements can be made for shipping. To anyone that was interested in purchasing and leaving with the vehicle that day, I appologize, I was just informed of this, and I do not see the Estate budging on this.--Sorry If anyone is truly interested in bidding on and taking the car w/ on saturday, the attorney MAY allow the car to leave if the account is pre-approved. For information on that contact me directly, and I will provide the information. For everyone else it may be best just to bring cash IF that is possible, I realize this is not always possible or convienent.---thanks--Troy

Default important info-

hey just got word, anyone planning on getting a hotel for this weekend and has yet to do so----do so now. I just received info that a movie crew is planning on coming in and setting up over the weekend. Don't know what the movie is, do know that it is to star Viggo Morrtenson and Charlize Theron(hottie). Just an FYI. If I had to venture a guess, they will probably be staying at the Ramada, for those of you that are starstruck.

Default Where is the Hardees?

Troy can you give the address or location of the Hardees so we can meet you there?

I'll be coming from Sterling, VA, if anyone would like me to look for something. I won't be staying all day, so I'll probably miss the best deals (like the ashtray that only one person needs).

When you get off I-70 in Breezewood, turn left onto Rt30. The Hardees is a quarter or half a mile on the right.

BTW, I'm in Sterling too.

Thanks, Roger -- hope to see you in PA. Matt, let's get together sometime. I'm just south of Sterling Blvd near the DMV -- call me at 703-822-5872 anytime.

Found this on the Best Western site:
http://www.bestwestern.com/

Free hot breakfast at Hardee's. Convenient, methinks.
AAA discount.

Default sale info

For all NOT meeting me at Breezewood, I will not be back in Saxton with the crowd until 10:00. Then I must have everyone registered, until that occurs and has time to look around, I will probably not be starting the auction until 11:00--11:30. thanks--Troy

Troy, how long do you expect the event to last? A couple hours or all day?

I just got back and I want to say Troy is a hell of a guy and handled the sale himself and was very professional. What a friend doc Mohr has in him. He was probably there in spirit seeing how happy this sale made everyone and how many people cared. I got some great deals and put a proxy bid on the GTS. Guess by now I know I didn't get it huh? 35k was prolly to low I guess!!!
