Default Doc Mohr's Estate Sale

Hello all from south-central--Pa that is. This is an FYI for all shark owners. The estate of J. Scott Mohr will be having a final sale on all parts left from the shop on March 1, 2008. The following parts to include: engines, trans, torque tubes, interiors, Speake spanner tool, SMT-6's, and all remaining parts, including parts cars and the 93 GTS Stroker are still left. The building has been sold, and the new owner wants to have the place cleared out. I have been in weekly contact with Doc's lawyer on this matter and anyting not sold on this weekend is to be junked. It would be sickening to see all of the parts for these cars go to waste, instead of a good home, so I am trying to get the word out to as many people as I can, to inform them of this sale. I will again be escorting all interested parties from Breezewood, Pa down to Doc's shop, in Saxton for the sale, the train will be leaving around 9:30 am for the 20 min. drive. Anyone interested in attending can contact me at pappysru@yahoo.com Please plan on bringing your trucks and trailers. Thanks for leting me ramble and hope to see all of you there---Troy

Sad, but this is his extended family and the more of us there the better. I won't be there, I have too much stuff now as it is.
How bad would it be if all of those things went for .05c on the $1.00, you know most would be resold to us later for $1.05...

Do you have a complete inventory of all that's there?

It would be helpful, as some might make the trip if the trip is worthwhile (parts-wise, if you know what I mean......).

Will the cars (regardless of strokers or parts cars) be auctioned off as well?

Troy,

If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I will be there. If it doesn't look like many will show up, I will tow a trailer and pack up anything I can at the end of the day. Scott had an amazing ability to have any 928 part anybody wanted and even a few nobody knew were created.

My phone number will be in your PM box if you don't still have it.

It's sad, but the stuff's gotta go and he would have wanted us to buy it off of him.

On another sad note, I just deleted his number from my cell phone...

This is sad, I will be there. I feel bad for not being able to attend his funeral.

I would very much like to be there, however before I make the journey it would be good to see a detailed list of cars & parts. Is a list going to be available?
I will be in VA this weekend, is it possible to preview before the sale?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Sad situation but it would be terrible to see some of that stuff trashed.

Any one want to be my "eyes" and look if this weekend is not possible?

The "Spanner" that Scott had was a protoype version which also has testing for 944S, 968 etc in addition to the stock 928 menus.

Scott was evaluating this software for me. He was real good guy !
