If you had never been there Docs shop was pretty big, IIRC when I was there last he had between 10-15 cars inside and about the same outside. There were stacks of wheels here, stacks of engines there, piles of alternaters in the corner over there, my AC compressor was found by the back door to the left.

As Troy mentioned there was a LOT of stuff a complete inventory might look like an ebay search results for "928"

Will most likely be heading up there with Matt.

There will not be any tools available at the sale but I will post pics of as many types of items as I can. I will say that there will glass available for those interested, as it is a little safer to carry glass in your own vehicle or trailer rather that letting bi (broken) brown do it for you.

 

Thank you Michael, As he stated the building is probably 20x50 with parts everywhere. They will be (hopefully) grouped into like item areas for everyone to preview befor the sale begins. As for parts cars there are only 8 left, 3 of which are 944's. All of which are in various states form nearly complete to shells.

 

For the stuff that dosen't get sold is there a way for someone to take what is left and store it for a bit and maybe put a list of items that are left on rennlist here so that stuff can be sold and shipped out? It would be a shame for whatever dosen't get solf to be just junked.

 

I will look into getting a storage trailer there if there is still a substantial amount left to warrant doing so, I myself am an owner and would hate to see even one part be scrapped.

 

So a live auction ? if so then what would NOT sell ?? Any minimum price on the GTS ?

For all wondering here is a partial list, I am sure that there are still many parts missing from it but hopefully this will quell some of the questions; at least 4 complete exhaust systems --off of vehicles,several pods,at least 4 instrument clusters, complete grey/green interior in PERFECT condition(minus front seats-already sold), dark blue interior, 2 sets of front seats-1 blue-1 black,glass, atleast 4 sets of wheel spacers,5 liter engine,maf's, u-boats,85-86 intake box's, intake runners, hoses, clamps, nuts/bolts(seperated) gas tanks(bladders), suspension parts, doors, wheels(phone dials) 16", tires 16", 2 sets of 2 18", floor mats, fender covers(shop work), inner fender covers, inner bumper structures(alum-F/R), evaperators, condensors, interior parts(misc) huh breathe plus a few more things.

 

I will try to post some pics tomorrow, have to go off and see the taxman now.

 

What methods of payment will be accepted? Cash, check, credit cards? Any preference?

 

I think Scott said the building is 110x50 with 80x50 being the shop. The last time I was there it was about half full, probably a little less.
