That car needs new paint, air conditioner doesn't work, and it has 20,000 more miles than mine. Currently the high bid is more than what I paid for mine. A little off topic? Sure, but I'm just happy I got a good deal.

You know, there appears to be a certain level/degree of agnst in this thread that I think being cooped up in the middle of lousy winter weather watching the millionaires play on that televised auction block has alot to do with it. I'd point out that even though there are 70k+ versions of our cars out there it doesn't stop any of us from enjoying our car regardless of how rich we might be because there is such a range of years/prices to choose from. I've been fortunate enough to have driven all of the different models now, and each one has been simply great, Its made me more of an enthusiast than I ever was.

It just doesn't matter how much we spent to purchase the car, whether its a 2k OB fixer/upper or a low k GTS collector what matters is how great these cars are, how positive they make us feel and the sense of community I feel every time a log onto Rennlist, the people here are just awesome.

Summers comming. A few months away at best. The season for driving will be at hand. Just remember that any version of the 928 will outhandle that 200k hemi cuda some millionaire bought so he can sit and polish it in his driveway waiting for next year to go to the auction and sell it again, never driving it for fear a rock might scratch the paint....
