Too bad it has a sunroof, I could live with the black paint.

Funny thing is, those seats don't look much better than the ones in my 80k mile '87. It is impressive how the intake is still silver though. Did the late model GTS's have the same coating on their intakes as the rest of us? I'm assuming that someone wouldn't recoat the intake of a 10K mile '95 GTS.

I was wondering about the intake hoses myself, and there is NO PREDICTING what some people do.

I agree, there's no predicting. I believe the mileage based on the engine compartment view. I was just surprised about the condition of the seats. I would expect a '95 with 10K miles to have seats that look brand new. For $70K, I would expect an example that was perfectly new in almost every way. Since Porsche refrained from significant cosmetic changes throughout the life of the 928 (with the exception of the restyle in '87) a model of any vintage with that premium would need to be unique and perfect. Only a serious collector would ever consider this car at this price. It still amazes me what I paid for my car relative to what a late model GTS can command. No one not familiar with the 928 can tell the difference, but mine cost 1/10th of what a low milleage '93 or '95 might sell for.

As for the intake tubes, as far as I know, the GTS's had insulated intake tubes so that looks stock to my uneducated eye.

I think for $70k I would take a trip to good cold Germany, find myself a heavily optioned late model GTS, and bring it over here. Then I'd have a more unique car, with more options, and probably would not be quite as afraid to drive it as if I had this one...

For $70k you could buy a nice track car and two nice daily drivers and laugh all the way to the bank at somebodies afraid to drive it garage queen.

I think these cars are just as collectible as Avon bottles, valuable until one more is for sale than there are buyers.

Hey dangle part, you crack me up man. You have been in this 928 world all of about 5 minutes and you seem to author 50% of the threads in this forum. None that I can see, that are backed up with any previous or hard learned knowledge. Its like you showed up to some Hollywood party and are as transparent as the martini glasses. I doubt you have ever even used the search button and your conversations are nothing more than an opinion someone just gave you in a previous thread you may or may not have started. Take a look back and read your own stuff dude, it's ALL way old already. Read and learn instead of post and spew.

FYI, Michael has sold more 928's than you would care to know and mostly GTS's. People buy them. It is a class that few can be in. AND, they ALL sell...for very good money. Just because YOU can't be in that class, don't sling any judgements. Had you been around long enough and bothered to inquire, a fellow 928'er down in so Cal bought a 1995 GTS with 3000 on the clock from Michael 2-3 years ago...and it STILL has way less than the 10K...and its a 5 spd! The car is most likely the lowest mile 1995 GTS in the US since there are only about 12 to my knowledge. We had it on display in the Petersen Automotive Museum in 2004.

Give it a rest man! All you do is get on this board and start posts with your fictional personal opinion and absorbing the attitude that has put this car in the tank it is today.

GEEEEEEEZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!

Tubes look like original GTS. They were first used in S4's exported to Switzerland to kill intake noise. Standard to all GTS except to those which were exported to places like middle east and used special dust trap tubes.

Agree that seats look way too worn for such low miles. Maybe they weren't treated with leather conditioner for years and did try out.

Why would a 10K car have a new radiator?
Personnaly I hope (big word) that he gets $100k for it.

Keith,
This is the first time I've seen someone flamed on this board for an opinion. Dangler has jumped into the community and is learning his way around just like we all did. If his posts offend you you can block them, but your rant is small minded and rude.
Dangler,
My personal apologies. I find your enthusiasm infectious.

Hey Rog, does it have a new rad? I didn't see that noted anywhere.

I hate to see this type of thread again because I know where its headed. It won't necessarily be a collector who buys the car but more probably will be someone who has lusted after the GTS and has the means and inclination to buy the best available. Probably nobody from this list....... FWIW, he already has someone interested in buying the car.

It could have a replcement instrument cluster... Hard to tell from the pictures if the rest of the car looks like 10kmiles or not.

It'll be interesting to see what he get for it - the 4th or 5th time it's on ebay.

Keith, why shouldn't he post about a nice car on Ebay? Or anything else?
I am at a loss?
If I am not interested in reading certain posts, I don't read them. It's not like it is taking space on anyones PC...?

The car is real all right. I have sold several cars as a result of running eBay auctions. It sometimes takes 3 or 4 before the right person sees the ad.
