Perhaps a reality check for us all, I know it is for me.

Sad to hear about this. I don't believe I meet Larry but I feel for his family.

I have talked with the family and conveyed our deepest sympathy. They have not set details for the funeral, but will contact me as soon as they have been set. I'll let you guys know.

Larry's funeral will be at Grace Episcopalian on Day Road on Bainbridge, Sunday 1pm. The family have requested that we NOT DRIVE PORSCHES.

Heinrich,

I can understand that. I'm sure the sight of a 928 will be very painful for them for a long time.

My condolences to the family.

You like the little eBay camera in the corner?

Thanks for keeping this thread updated. I never met your friend but he is clearly missed.

I pulled the following info off the net.

Grace Episcopal Church
8595 NE Day Road E, (206) 842-9997

I'm planning on going as well.

Perhaps if there is a group we could take in for brunch ahead of time and talk about old times w/Larry.

I'll take my Bronco, if anyone wants to ride with me there is room for 4 passengers plus me. Brunch would be good, downtown Bainbridge would likely work.

How does the 10:40 ferry sound? That way maybe we can go look at the scene also. The 11:25 would work also but I fear we'd be cutting it close with no room for error if the ferry didn't show (as has happened to me before).

So, take the 10:40 ferry, get there 11:10. There are great breakfast places right there ny the ferry terminal on the island. Then we can take off from there when done..... I will be taking this route up there.
