Cool idea,
would be interesting to know the progress on the new engine first.
I guess it will be really difficult to part with the current engine until the new is in the car and tested for reliability though.
That's the minimum I would do first.

Mark is going to have to rob from his engine to make a complete motor anyway...heads cams intake wiring etc etc.

I presume the donated money has gone somewhere relevant. It was clear the amount would not buy a finished motor. I was never quite certain what the real plan was other than buying a block or or partial motor from Todd and then trying to finish it somehow.

I couldn't have said it any better myself.

Once the fund drive was over, the funds were handed over to Tim. Since that time Tim, Mark, and Todd have been going over details for the final motor.
