It is not a very technical track with a lot of places to make passing moves, not sure that I gained anything by the practice runs yesterday!

Fun was had. And the trophy stays in the US. The Swede tried his best and nearly stole it away, but in the next to last lap, Mark K rolled a 21.3XX to beat the Swede's 21.4XX. The Swede nearly got DQ'd when his custom made Swedish neck pad, fell off his large neck and wedged on the hot motor, nearly catching fire. It was a dramatic rescue when the course worker stopped the Swede in his mad dash, reached down and grabbed the smoking hot neck collar and tossed it across the track before the whole vehicle could go up in flames. The Swede took the opportunity to harrass the track officials about his misassigned starting position, but lost the argument after delaying the race for 5 minutes. It just wasn't his day today.
See you next time, Anders ole buddy!

I didn't know that the neck collar was stuck in the exhaust until after the race. They didn't stop me. I stopped the race by placing the kart sideways on the start/finish line during yellow.
Pictures to come!

Damnit, I feel so lame for bugging out. I got a call today around 2pm from my dad, he wanted to "remind" me that we had dinner plans with my uncle and his family (first I heard of it)...
I want to see the pics to I can see what I missed and feel worse about it
