Default which supercharger?

I'm almost to the point where all maintenance is complete and I'm ready to install a bolt on bag of horsepower; now the question which one.

Murf stage 1 is available now.
Murf stage 2.........unknown
928 SP............very soon?

I heard supercharged cars get better mileage too.................thats what I'm telling the SO anyways.

Malcom-

If you're going to SITM... well let's just say you'll have plenty of opportunity to sample the SC wares. You might even be able to watch one get installed.

If you can keep your foot out of the gas you might get better gas mileage, but from experience I found that very hard to do. Way too much fun stepping hard on the fun peddle!

Better mileage...sure! Especially if you install 30# injectors. My digital dash thinks I'm averaging 24MPG based on the duty cycle calculations it must use. Hah, hah. But honestly, my mileage, based on miles per tankfull, is at least as good as before the SC except for the first couple of hundred feet after the stoplight goes green.

If Andrew is right about SITM, I wish I could be there to see it. The preliminary information on the kit was pretty stunning. I would love to see the finished product up-close and personal. But if you want to debate which kit, be prepared for a lot of this and that back and forth. Tom has the only real honest solution.

History is sometimes reconstructed here on rennlist, but the stage two has been out for a few years, is on over a dozen cars. 556rwhp. Paul (lag - no longer in the san box), Gretch, TomR, all those guys are stage 2. Have you spoken to Tim?

Been driving and enjoying my Murph stage 2 kit for a year and a half. The car is an absolute beast, and so far as reliable as stock. If you have any questions about it, pm me.

I might go down to Blacksburg a day or two earlier if the car's done early. If it's done right at the end I may try to tag along with Scott.
