I scanned this post for a firm date on the OC Convention and can't find one. I'm trying to schedule SHARKS AT THE LAKE 2006 and am running out of time. I'm trying to not conflict with the convention ! Does anyone know the Date.

It would be a major bummer to have SATL and the OC on the same weekend.... I'm going to SATL for sure!

I'd hate to have a conflict also but I'll miss out on fathers day in a new hotel at the end of the week.

The 88 is in the hospital but don't worry the doc says she will be just fine. Kind of like when Steve Austin went in for a full bionic treatment

I have to tell ya...everytme I see this post back at the top of the list, it is because someone is asking what the heck is going on with this thing.

Stan...isn't this a major OC event? Wouldn't you know?

Maybe someone should contact Richard who had started this thread and ask him to come back and give an up date. I expect folks are very much interested in this and want to start making arrangements already. I know I do!

Hi Keith,

The OCIC is run by the local organizers. The 928 OC is a sponsor of the event, but the 928 OC board doesn't run the event. I know Marc White (VP of the 928 OC) was working with Paul Lang on some preparations, but haven't heard anything since.

I want to come too. For when is it scheduled? Also important is to coordinate this with the SoCal 928ers and others along the way (Arizona, Utah, Nevada).
Does anyone have even an approximate date range? In June I will be in Hawaii and in August is the Porsche Parade in Oregon. That makes July the perfect time for me.

The first post in this thread suggested it would be in June. As far as I know it is still in the relative time period. So the closest conflict would be SITM, which I believe was being worked around.
