Every thing is taking place to hold the 928 OC gathering in Denver in June of 2006. Hotel is being arranged .( Great Rate ) Drive in the mountains being planned ( Scary drive ) Banquet with awards for those of you who take great care of you 928. A Sunday of not only 928's but a visit to and display of your 928's at the only recreated original FACTORY of Porsche.( The Gmund Factory)
the kind of Porsche Garage we all desire. Along with your chance to see the truly dejected Porsche's ( Porsche Tractors ) . And your chance to autocross a Porsche Tractor. More information and to follow.

Is this the same gathering that took place in Witchita last year?

As a relatively close Kansas Citian, I'm about 90% sure I'd do it. Probably try to extend the trip into Vail (one of my favorite hang-out places in CO) for a few days, too.

FWIW, I'm going to Estes Park in mid-September. My wife has a company meeting there, and I'm going along mostly so I can drive in the mountains and also do some hiking in Rocky Mountain N.P. Yup, I have to drive all the way across Kansas into Colorado just so I can find some roads with curves. :burnout:

I'll be moving to New Hampshire next June. Sorry I'll miss it.

Richard, do you know what the latest news is on the effort to get Tony Lapine to attend? I also thought it might be fun to have someone to do a high-speed Knievel-style stunt jump in a 928 over a long row of 911's. That might be memorable.
