No way. For rock and roll + cowbell, think KISS....

Album: Rock and Roll Over.

Songs of merit for 928 driving: All of them

Some cowbell highlights: Dr. Love, Meet you in the ladies room, I want you.... I think every song on that album had cowbell on it somewhere...

Exhibit 1) Dr. Love

Kiss even fake "burned" Paul Stanley's 928 in one of their 80's no makeup videos... They faked it just like they used to fake exploding helicopters in the movies because they were way too expensive to destroy... Now you can burn them and no one would notice except for rennlisters...
I lay no claim to the no makeup years, but there is a 928 in there so here it is. Check how cheesy these guys were....and they had it going on LOL....Ahhhh the 80's....

Exhibit 2)Burnt 928 (no cowbell)

Everybody says Will Ferrell is great, but the Christopher Walken needs credit for this too...

Honestly, that skit is ALL Christopher Walken. Will Ferrel is great in it, but Walken brings the real magic, his delivery is absolutely perfect. I personally don't think that it counts as one of the top Will Ferrel skits because Walken steals the show, despite the fact that Will Ferrel is in it and it is legendarily hilarious.

"Time'' by the Chambers Brothers. I'm really (carbon) dating myself with this one.

Cowbell is the lead instrument on this. Early psychedelia.

Cowbells? Go to a Mississippi State football game. You don't even have to enter the stadium. Just sit in the parking lot. Plenty of cowbells going...
