Y'all need to come down to mississippi, here at MSU the cow bell seems to be the noise maker of choice when (if) we score in football. You hear those damn cows bells across the whole damn town. I can send you some samples of it if ya want

So I'm on a road trip of 700 miles, each way, to get parts for my recent predicament. Not one 928 spotted.

I do hear "Mississippi Queen" twice! Once on the Alice Cooper show which I only get around Tomah Wisconsin. Alice! Talkin' 'bout "needing more cowbell." Sweet! The short block twitched. Swear!

4. Ich Will - Rammstein
5. Jesus Christ Pose - Soundgarden
6. Santa Monica - Everclear

Man there are alot of us old folks driving 928's to know the music in this thread. My very good buddy always says all he can think about when he sees my 928 is the Miami Vice soundtrack. Yeah he is taking a shot at me, but that is what good buddies do.
I get the whole mesh shoes, pastel shirt jokes, it goes on and on

5 pages of cowbell songs and no mention of one of the greatest cowbell intros of all time...

"Dance the Night Away" from Van Halen II

As far as songs that make your shark go a little faster, I have to recommend "Panama", also from the real Van Halen. That tune must have been recorded with a 928 keeping time like a metronome. The V8 is in perfect time with the drums and bass on that tune.

Thumbs up

"I can't drive 55" (S. Hagar)

Essential theme music when wifey & I do
a road trip. Sing-along with Sammy.

p.s. I've got a tin ear, but surely there's
a cowbell in there somewhere.

Heard "chug-a-lug" by Steve Miller today. (That'd be "Jungle Love" for you sober people.) A 'B' for cowbell content.

Here's a good list. Most of the songs feature cowbell but really don't have enough. If it ain't hitting on 2 and 4 there ain't enough.
