Default '89 S4 with 5 speed, 56,000 original miles available

I've got nothing to do with this....
But one of my buddies, in Nevada, contacted me and he got in a 56,000 mile, two owner, '89 five speed S4.
And 928's are not his forte, so he doesn't want to mess with it.

And the best part....30K, as is.
He says if he cleans it up, does paint correction, services the car (top to bottom), he will offer it at 50K....so it must be pretty nice.

If anyone is interested...or you've got a buddy looking, this should be a pretty good deal....for a fairly unique model!
Contact me and I'll put you in touch with him.
Serious people, only....neither one of us have the time to deal with people that are not serious.

More low end torque than the GT's
Longer gear ratios.
Very desirable model!

Owned an '89 5 speed for about a dozen years. Had ~115K miles on it when I bought. Used as a track car primarily, and the combination of good torque and perfect (in my opinion) differential gearing, it was actually better on longer tracks than the GT. GT's ran out of RPM's in 4th and had to shift to 5th (which was worthless on an uphill section) or modulate. The '89 S4 could obtain higher speeds in 4th without shifting. IF that '89 has an interesting color combination, and I hadn't bought Greg's customer's GTS a year ago, I'd be inquiring.

There aren't going to be any, from me.
Not my car. Not involved with the sale.
A very good friend called me and said that this car had fallen into his lap and asked me if I knew anyone that would be interested, as he did not have the bandwidth to deal with it.
I currently have more 928's than I can deal with, so I passed this on to Rennlist people.

The response has been overwhelming....
I will be surprised if there is not a "bidding war", on this car.
Heck, if it can happen in Real Estate....
