You guys are so highbrow with the classical music!!! I like it though. The 928 IS a classy car, so maybe keep the music classy too

Cheers

Hmmm.... two bands that I haven't seen mentioned are the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. And if you're going to go with the Beatles, I'd love to hear Sgt. Peppers from beginning to end on that system.

If you're going with the Stones, then I'd either choose Paint It Black or Sympathy for the Devil for that sound system.

A little Ludwig Van to go with the German theme. Wagner would sound great also!

Old stereo stuff is better than new. I have an amazing pair of speakers I bought in the late 90's I think. They are clear as can be and can handle a lot w/o any distortion. Made in Great Britain, MISSION speakers! My Denon amp recently let go. I replaced with a Sony, piece of crap took it back. I have a new Denon box now but not as good as the old one, but bearable. Old MISSION speakers not only sound great but look nice too.

I am listening to my MP3 collection right now, almost all of them would be a good choice for 1st song but I will say this one

1st song > Get ya motor runnin head out on the highway lookin for adventure

I think we all need a hint in which format you are using for the first playback.

Denon Turntable decent but not an ultimate high level spinner...

And I have to hand it to you guys... This is a fantastic resource of suggestions. When I look back on what I decided on I realize it is more obscure than I thought... But, One of you will get it...

Alas, none are the one... Keep em coming! Vivaldi's four Seasons? No! Space Oddity and the whole David Bowie album? No, that's the second album I will play, Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo? No. Anything by Rush? No (but I love em), Aliens ate My Buick by Thomas Dolby? No....

Thanks again for helping with the liszt...

C-mon, we can do this! …
I assume that might be a hint^

Copeland. 'Fanfare for the Common Man'. Would be epic in that space.

Huge favorite of mine but not the one... It will be played for sure at some point!

If I were testing the system only, it might be Thelma Houston's "Pressure Cooker". But its not..

As a Michigander, if it's not Kid Rock or the motor city madman, you may as well start disassembling the garage now.

Being from Michigan there are a ton of choices if one includes Motown...

I do live very close to Kid Rock and am friends with Mark & Lesia Farner (Grand Funk Railroad)...

Music aside for a moment.

We finally got the Polyaspartic floor started yesterday (thanks Bulvot) and the clear coat is going down as I write. Azek Baseboards and the coverings for the wiring access walls go in this week as well as the air compressor system and cellular signal amplifiers and more of the insecurity system. The cameras are amazing with facial recognition and license plate readers. Heck, I can read serial numbers on cars driving in or past the place. Cant believe the public can buy stuff like this!

As always, photos tell the story better...

Visually turning the corner and heading onto the home stretch...
