Carlos,

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to come to the not so frozen tundra!

Wonderful to meet your wife, pups and to get a tour of your amazing camper. What a great set of wheels!

Also had some fun at the car show as there were some truly priceless vehicles on display. Supercharged Auburn Woody was nuts!

So it's been a while since i looked at this thread. What I want to know is what obscure song was announced? If so, I missed it. If not, then I submit "Cars" by Gary Numan. Kinda obscure, kinda not.

Curious fat bastards want to know....

Well now. It has been a while since that topic has been touched on... There is a reason... The monster tube amp stereo has not been hooked up yet because I am struggling with the acoustics! All those huge flat walls and what to do about reflected sound??? When I play the piano it sounds fairly good from up in the mezzanine, but if a bunch of people are having a conversation and I turn on the smaller sound system, it becomes a cacophony of noise... And, quite frankly, I'm distracted by a few other more pressing things and am not getting to it. Progress is being made - albeit slowly.

Recently I found someone that can take the sound absorbing art prints I made. They will bind them so they can be hung and that should help greatly. Then up goes the point lighting and the balance of the porcelain and speaker stands.

Like I said a long time ago, this building will evolve as time goes on!

Stay tuned!

You should collect Persian carpets and cover the walls with it!

Thanks Harry!
While off discovering Columbus and reveling in the company of 80+++ 928 enthusiasts, I completed negotiations to add this to the collection of garages... It holds six + as its 2 cars deep on the right two bays and yes, lifts will fit. So ultimately it could hold 12. I'll stick to 6 for now. The upper story is a 2 bedroom guest house that is part of a 45 acre - - - former equestrian estate.
Pinch me again! Dreams do come true!!!

If I seemed pre-occupied, this is why!

Fun aside, nice purchase, Dave!

Oh yeah, the garage does come with a house... It's a bit over the top, but after toning down some of the Liberace style decor, it will fit my lifestyle rather well.

The land is the big deal to me. Forty five acres of mature hardwood forrest and pasture for the 9 horse outbuilding. I have zero interest in horses but do raise honeybees. My plan is to remove the fences and restore the pastures to wildflower meadows and perhaps put in a short golf hole for my wife. She's a bad *** golfer and deserves something super cool! Inside the apartment above the horse stable I'll gut it and put in a golf simulator with a small bar and bathroom for her and our friends to carry on in...

As always, pictures tell the story... Something tells me those lawns would look mighty fine all covered in 928's and other configurations of Porsches, Ferraris and other artifacts of the hydrocarbon era!

View? What view...

Springtime photos allow better visualization. The trees are mighty thick now and some trimming will be in order...

Billiards anyone?

View from guest house... Sucks at a pretty high level...

Oh yea, the bar - gotta have a bar...

Help Mr Wizard! I've added another huge project to my already insanely busy world! Can't wait for moving the bees to their new home!

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
