What does the trained eye see?

I saw that info Here. I can't tell from the pic whether you have the ribbed, non-reinforced hose.
Don't be too quick to slap a stainless hose on there either. The teflon lining fatigues, and it's impossible to detect through the stainless braid. That's fine on an aircraft or racecar where you just replace it at intervals, but for a driver get a high quality reinforced hose that you can inspect the condition of. Same goes for any other non-reinforced hoses in there.

The hose is ribbed. I don't know how to tell if it's non-reinforced (short of slicing into it, which seems imprudent!). I'll investigate further. Thanks.
I've replaced more of the corroded hardware and removed aftermarket wires (in the cheap plastic flexible conduit) since taking that picture. Any hypotheses on why there is more corrosion on the starboard side than the port?

Sure... there's always more water kicked up into the right side of a US car. Think about it... when it rains, the gutters along the street fill up, and odds are the car wil splash in more puddles with the right wheels than the left. Also more spray tends to get kicked up from the cars in front of you on that side. Additionally, if the car is parallel parked on a street, all of the water runs to the right side.

Check your blue hose. The picture shows a lot of blue, which could indicate the outside braided cover is gone. The "blue" is under the cover. Mine looks like yours and mine needs to be replaced. The hose is not under pressure, just a gravity feed, but if it fails you will have no clutch.
Otherwise, nice looking engine bay!!!!

Thanks.
Gretch -
My blue hose (running down from the brake fluid reservoir -- what does it do? I thought it was a vent of some sort for the reservoir) is braided blue hose.
David -
The two wires you see were for aftermarket stuff -- PIAAs, radar detectors, ??? -- and are already gone, along with all of the other aftermarket wire (installed by crack-addled gibbons) from the dash forward.
Keep it coming!

If you insist.......
Your passenger side airbox clip is on wrong.
Wire between radiator and nose of the car, running above your flap manual adjust ****, is also not original equipment.

I didn't see anything else yet - other than your airbox clamps not all clamped down in the same way...
I'm going to take a fresh pic of my '89 this weekend...
uhh... maybe not, since it's not all back together yet.

in the middle of and immediately behind the headlight rotation bar. It is covered in a thin 2 piece rubber membrane. Remove the top membrane and twist the ****. Put there in case the flap mechanizm fails on closed position. Turn the **** to open the flaps...........
Jeeze man, you gotta get a bit mor familar with your car.......

What more do you want?
The PO had wired the flaps permanently open, so the **** was a non-issue.

It's just "inside-out". Unclip it and the one next to it, and you will see they are the same but can be snapped in both directions.

As you can plainly see, the starboardmost clip has a straight verschplinker, while the others have verschplinkern that are bent.
