EZK ignition self tuning chip

Groan. That's awful. Horrible. Perfect.
Yeah, I'm sure he would. But I have an 85, with the EZF. No knock sensors.
NO CHIP FOR ME!!
But I have a PKT on it.
Doesn't go on the car. Goes on the 'travelling' toolbox. That's where all my product or vendor stickers go.
Not exactly sure how adding horsepower to a toolbox works, but I'm willing to try.

May I have some more, please?
May I have 15, please?
Can I stack the stickers? Or must they be arrayed in a specific pattern?
Inquiring minds nd all...
I'm in for one of the chips at some point. Driving at 4000ft altitude most of the time, the engine can certainly stand more advance, but once in a while it treks down closer to sea level.
I (still) need to get the MAF rebuilt, and probably deserve an injector cleaning too since the car isn't driven often enough lately. Car is on tall stands in its hibernation storage spot now, with the passenger side pretty close to the wall of the garage. I left enough room there for access to pull the MAF, but not enough to open the door for EZK controller access.

How can you have any pudding...
A weak MAF probably works better up there in the highlands. I have driven the ever-so-twisty highway 242 over there (during the eye-blink it is open) when I had a WBO2 hooked up and it was oh-so-rich. The LH needs a altitude switch! (Using the coding plug inputs or the ROW CO pot input.)

Hmmm...
Can I just send a self-addressed stamped envelope?
(Anybody else remember Zoom on PBS?)
Note: I am joking around here, but am actually serious about wanting a sticker.

These are from the first test batch to see how they would look. I will have some more made soon and bust out a PK-SWAG page on the site.

ALCON,
got out the chip installed into my 89 yesterday. First readings on the Assometer = wow. Throttle more responsive, pulls like a mule to redline, smoother idle. I had one of his old chips in my 87 and had forgotten what a difference it made. Could kick myself for waiting so long on this simple but significant mod. Thanks Ken...I’ve been Porkened! I need my sticker

Can us lowly original S300-with-no-knock-sensors S3 drivers acquire stickers as well?
Oops, Wisconsin Joe is essentially asking that same question.

JPS team colors for mine please. Black car with cashmere interior and all.
I'll get with you in the spring when the car drives again and the passes are snow-free. It's sort of drizzling snow here this morning. "Chains or traction tires" required. Looking for close to a foot of new snow on the mountain today.

Size is good. Similar to typical vendor or product manufacturer ones.
And I've got a pair of liftbars, so I should probably get two.
Look forward to seeing it on the 'PorKen Swag Page' on the site.
I'd probably be in for a ball cap if you go for those.
Note: Despite the light hearted nature of my comments, I would like to get a sticker and probably a hat.

Putting my order in for a sticker as well.
Only thing I don't have of Ken's is his PKup. Just couldn't get past that name.
Looking forward to that additional 10 HP!!!!

This product is just the chip. No computer interface needed. You can install it yourself in under an hour.

Hello everyone. I thought I would post an update on mounting the diagnostic light into the pod for 87/88 cars as well as some updated videos of some of the features and adaptation test runs. In post #133 I walked you through how I made the diagnostic light using a standard pod bulb. I was able to plug the bulb into the "CAT" socket on my gauge pod. This is an unused socket (except for JP cars). I did have to mask off the traces on the foil to get the bulb to work. Apparently the traces are powered even though the CAT monitoring equipment are not present.
Here is a pic of the pod with the CAT light illuminated. I used an amber bulb to differentiate it from the warning indicators. Im pretty happy with the color and location. The amber is noticeable but not distracting.
The diagnostic light will illuminate in the accessory mode and will stay lit for about 2-seconds each time the car is started. One of the features @PorKen has added with the latest version of the chip, whenever the EZK adaption is reset, the light will stay illuminated until RPMs reach 1800
Now, if you are really bored for some 928 content here are some videos showing the adaptation process. I have loop circuit near my house (industrial area) where I can make 1st, 2nd gear redline runs on each leg of the oval. This first video captures the fist knocks as I am driving to the oval. There is a really good acceleration at 5:30 where I get full use of 1st and 2nd and fairly deep in 3rd.
The second video captures the curious knocks that seem to happen when accelerating when over geared.
Hope you find this as exciting as I do. Ken is still making some adjustments to the chip and will have indications for when adaptation is mostly complete.
