I just saw this and wanted to share. If you have a 4th grader you can get into the parks for free.

Harvey,

That is a part of the country I do not have enough seat time through, so count me in. It may be better to use the following weekend in case there are some July 4th family traditions that would be hard to break. I am in either way if we get enough people on board. Glad to volunteer in any capacity as well.

Gambling, open roads, scenery and national landmarks -- you've got a winner. And, a lot of people take that week off anyway. Planning on being there if you have it.

Beautiful part of the country we have not explored. That said will try and make it your way Harvey. As Hans^^suggests, may be better to switch the event to week or two later as not to conflict with the July 4th holiday T

Thanks for the suggestions. That is why I asked for help. I was wondering how the 4th would work or not. I am open to any dates.

What about July 17-19th 2020? That would give people time to refresh from SITM and the 4th.

Kevin, years ago you drove to Monroe NC to pick up some 928 parts that I sold. I moved to South Dakota about 4 years ago. Looking forward to catching up.

My pleasure Harvey and once the weekend is locked in, I'd be glad to give you a hand setting up the event...ex: negotiating reduced group pricing for host hotel, etc. T

Thank Tony. We have plenty of towns around that we can work from, once a date is set. Sometimes Deadwood can get expensive and the closer you get to August you will have bikers coming in for Sturgis and it gets packed and the rates skyrocket.

Default Road tour ideas

Just a thought,
Contact the local HOG chapter their road captain should have some great tour maps on file.

This sounds great, and would be within a two-drive for most folks. I think the second/third week of July would be the best choice.
