Got home yesterday, in time for dinner

Basic stats ---

21 stops for fuel
115ish hours of driving time
6800ish miles covered

Visited 21 states -

So using the information that you have here, you averaged over 59 miles per hours during this whole trip. Not bad!!
And if you figure that you filled up each time you stopped for fuel and got 18 gallons each time, you got almost 18 miles per gallon. Pretty good!!
Add to these facts that you got to drive probably the finest GT car ever made around the country for a couple of weeks. That is pure excellence in my book!!

I responded by email today to my "invitation" to return to Nebraska (for the celebration party, I guess?) given to me during my drive home. There was a "resort fee" charge that I had to pay, but I didn't want to wait until it was too late to RSVP. I did express my regrets at not being able to attend and I would say that all in all, the trip was great and the drive was epic.

Harvey,

I know the Sharks in the Badlands is now over. I was able to stop by and see a few of the 928's on the Friday. I see you just live down the road in Cottonwood, i live near New Underwood. Would like to drive over sometime and talk 928's if you are available.
