We'd rather not take 35 straight up through Kansas, the scenery sucks and I've been up that road a couple thousand times. We decided to take a route we'd not taken more than a couple times and since it looks like we may end up getting close to S. Dakota Wed night, we may decide to take some different off the main road trails since we are leaving a day early.

I'll be on Glimpse leaving Louisville around 7 EST. Going north to meet Hans around Indy around 9ish, then northeast to Davenport, and west to Omaha where we will meet Darien. From there, 3 cars will go north to Sioux Falls, SD for an overnight. Thursday should be an easy breeze into Rapid Coty by 3pm ish, maybe earlier.

Ok, this is a long shot. Does anyone have the relay that goes in the HVAC control unit in the dash that controls the a/c compressor. Would make a interesting tech session to replace this part. The other option is I may try to rig a fused connection to the freeze switch to control the compressor.

Jeff, (Speedtoys) made it here just before 8 this evening after a very long day across Nevada, Utah and 31 miles into Colorado. I fed him a steak and a glass of wine and we rummaged thru my sandbox a bit, then I put him up for the night. He will be on the road again in the morning; and we will meet up again in Rapid city Thursday.

Meetings with four contractors and a bunch of other items on todays list, but the bottom line is that Loueee and I are hitting the road at 4:00 am on Thursday morning for the "Run To Rapid City".

Should arrive Thursday evening at 8:00...

Cause somebody's gotta be out there creating all that roadkill!

Jack and I will be going through Souix Falls today. Where are you guys staying ? We might crash the pre party. That would put 5 of us driving into Rapid Thursday afternoon.

Despite all our efforts to convince authorities they dont consider the event as essential travel and cant cross the border; have fun everyone, be safe!

Default Local Newspaper Article

Well we got part of the front page for the local big newspaper. They did get some facts wrong, but at least it is free publicity.

I clipped the article and posted it into a word document.

www.rapidcityjournal.com is where you can view it.

See everyone soon.
