Waldo928 made them for me. I believe he is being deployed so there is a possibility of delayed build times.

I've gathered a couple sets of used mounts. The original set in my car was the subject of some experimentation with various fillers, like reinforced hose and the like. They raised the gearbox to correct height but didn't have the right amount of give to get the right sound isolation. There was an extended thread in the last year or so on the "rebuild" options like the ones that Jeff shows.

Are you saying that the old rubber is still there and the cavity between the metal and the original rubber got filled with new rubber?

Can't say for sure, but the left-side mount of Jeff's pair, the one that has the inside (gearbox side) showing looks like it has the original rubber with the part numbers showing.
More than a few "other brands", especially hot-rodded front-drive cars, have issues with similar-style motor/gearbox unit mounts. Those owners fill the cavities with various durometer windshield urethanes and the like to try and keep mounts in their cars. Our gearbox mounts don't suffer the same abuse, instead succumbing to age and heat, and just sagging until the gap closes completely. The fixes discussed way back when include just filling the gap with urethane, through cutting and grinding out all the old rubber, and re-molding urethane to restore original function. I think Jeff's fall somewhere late in that spectrum.

Great! Looking forward to some real-world in-service test results. I inked a little with mine at a time when it made sense to just $pend on Porsche replacements rather than trying a full rebuild.

So here's a question, just how hard are these things to replace. I mean, I've done my engine, trans( yes I should have done mounts then) out to do torque tube, suspension, put on a supercharger and taken back off and made stock. So where does this fall in the realm of repairs?
