I might have a problem
In the first 3 pictures in the previous post, there is a thing hanging down just forward of the reservoir that looks like it has a 19mm bolt screwed into it. If you loosen and remove that "bolt", you would find that it's a cover for a one-way fill port for your transmission. You would just need to push a hose onto the port and pump fluid straight into the transmission. Never have to remove your reservoir cap again if you don't want to.

So aside from replacing the central warning computer today, I replaced the drivers side bumper shock and lights with the ones from the 84 parts car. Now the lights sit where they should relative to the bumper cover.

Top is what was on the blue car. Middle is one from the 84, and bottom is the other from the 84 that's on the blue car now.EefGFqh.jpg

The two sides are even now.

Don't think I put this picture here yet. Put the 968 wheels I bought to get the 84 home on this car while I was bleeding old fluid from the brakes this week.

I need to see if I can straighten out the driver's side fender some more too. It's still pushed in a bit on the side. I should probably replace this bumper cover down the road too since it's pretty buggered up on the driver's side too. All that serious body work can wait until after things are sorted mechanically though.

Decided to tackle a couple smaller jobs this weekend. Got the ac working (somewhat), tried to reattach the front spoiler, and made a radio work in the car.
First the ac. It was completely empty (had 3psi of something in it), so I pulled a vacuum on it and it held for several days.
Z6ZVTus.jpg
Charged it up with some r12a replacement (envriosafe brand) and have somewhat cool air. Granted this was just idling in the driveway.
SJOTC67.jpg
The spoiler on this car was pretty trashed. The one on the 84 wasn't great, but was a bit better. It was screwed together (in 3 pieces) so I put it back together and put it on for now.
Ug9djGH.jpg
Apparently I lost the photo of it back on the car. Can't find it on my phone now.
Last thing I did was try to make the radio work. It's a monterey sq23. It had a blown fuse on the back of it, so I replaced it, hooked it up, and it made smoke. I took it apart on the bench and couldn't find any burned components.

ocQfSXH.jpg
I put it back together and really didn't expect it to work suddenly, and sure enough it didn't. Some short inside keeps kicking off my power supply.
T50nep9.jpg
So I had an old sony head unit in the garage that was in my Durango for a while. Hooked it up, but couldn't get the amp working. It smelled like hot electronics when I took the cover off of it, so I pulled the fuse for it and bypassed it to power the speakers directly through the radio.
6qAxL9n.jpg
Doesn't fit in super well, but better than nothing for now.

And nothing I did with the radio and amp wiring modified the cars wiring at all. Everything was tapped into with connectors so it could be undone later if need be.

So I checked for any arcing plug wires last night when it was good and dark out and didn't see anything, although it is hard to see under the intake though. I'm going to check the resistance of the plug connectors soon and I guess I can do a compression check then too. Also want to try rigging up my fog machine to test for any vacuum leaks. Hopefully something (simple would be nice) will point towards the intermittent rough running.

Alright, so did a compression check tonight. The engine was cold and hadn't run for 24 hours, so probably not the best to do a compression check, but I think it still got decent numbers.
Compression in PSI are the inner numbers. Resistance in (k) ohms of the plug connectors are the outer numbers.
Mu8LT7D.jpg
So the driver's side was very consistent across all cylinders. The passenger's side varied a bit though at was 7 - 17 psi lower than the driver's side. I went through the passenger's side first then the driver's side, so it wasn't the battery getting weaker. Cranked for about 10 seconds each time, and did have a battery charger (only 6amp) hooked up the whole time. Had both the lh and ezk relays pulled. This was a harbor freight tool.
Also checked all the plugs that I put in about a month ago. All looked about the same, and about how they should, not lean or rich.

Got the brake hoses changed all around. They were definitely in need of it.
Old rear hose.

New rear hose.
M2EbaDZ.jpg
This gadget that came with my vacuum bleeder has been really convenient to have.
frk0gEx.jpg
Also took the front rotors to get machined. I think the rears just need replaced. The guy said only 1 dead spider got flung out.
T0sDimC.jpg
Sanded the pads down on a flat surface to get rid of unevenness. Bottom one sanded and ready to go, top one just had a bit to show wear in the middle of the pad.
9QikbnA.jpg
And brakes back together.
YqUNc8X.jpg
And everything back together (less the spiders & cobwebs) and the car backed out of the garage for a while. Yes I know the spoiler and grille are awful, but they'll get dealt with after the mechanical stuff is sorted out.

Got the power steering pressure line out tonight. Other than removing the alternator it unbolted easy. Getting it out was a pain, but it finally came out without removing anything else or breaking/bending anything. For the low pressure lines I'll probably get some hose and repair them myself.

"12/85" was stamped on the crimp, so probably the original one.
brTp5EU.jpg
And cleaned it up so I can take it to a hydraulic shop (hopefully I can find a decent one locally).
5qdK4nQ.jpg
The flexible trans cooler lines above the cats look to have been replaced at some point (don't imagine porsche used hose clamps like those).
j1GNpBw.jpg
After getting this power steering line rebuilt I'll just be waiting on insurance and can hopefully drive the car then.

Did you perhaps find color information in the door? I've been trying to find the interior colors for my car (see thread here: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l999-89-a.html ), and your Prussian Blue seems to have the same color scheme except for the carpets. I guess the "78" indicated in your trunk sticker also implies a special order.

I thought I saw somewhere that L33X was Prussian blue. Maybe later years it was a normal color? Looks to be 76 for interior. Door sticker just says Prussian blue I think.
You're right, L33X is definitely Prussian Blue. It's the interior color that I'm interested in, as I believe 76 also indicates a special order. I've reached out to Rob Budd, let's hope he can help with identification.
