Thanks. I recorded some of my control arm replacement too. Once I get done fighting with some graphics card issues I need to do something with those videos too.
Did you ever get the highway vibration figured out? I am close to ordering a set of the G-Max for the same reasons you ordered them. I am still on the fence between them and the Firestones. Any other feedback on the Generals?

I haven't, but I'm leaning more towards driveline. I'm pretty sure the car needs motor and or trans mounts which very well could be it.
As far as feedback on the tires, I can't speak to the before, but the steering is extremely responsive, even on center. I don't hear any excessive noise from the tires either.
I just ordered them at Discount Tire here in Michigan. $376 out the door (mounted, balanced, disposal, tax, etc). Then I get $100 rebate (gift cards). A steal if they are everything that I have read. 225/50-16.

The one near me has put 5 different sets of tires on my Charger (on two different sets of wheels) because they couldn't balance them. Dealership inspected the car and found nothing wrong. It was fine for several months, then I foolishly took the car in to have them rotated. They rebalanced them and now they're shaking on the highway again, then argued that they couldn't possibly have done anything wrong. There's a shake in my Durango now since they put tires on it too. I had the firestone across the street from them put the tires on the 928.
I did change the heater hoses and heater valve this weekend since they looked old. I gather that you're supposed to take off the wiper motor to get better access to them, but I didn't want to yank all that off. I cut the hoses off then used a small box wrench to turn the hose clamps.

I was wanting to get rid of the cats just for safety reasons (don't want any fluids catching fire), but now that they've committed suicide that's fallen a bit down the priority list. Definitely still something I want to do though.

Haven't updated anything in a couple weeks. The car has just been sitting in the garage while I was back home in PA due to a death in the family. Probably not going to make it to the frenzy since that used up my time off.
Anyway, next projects for the car are probably gonna be the driver's side upper control arm and probably engine mounts now.
