Prussian blue? I think that's my favorite.

I'll have to check the door tag to see what the color is supposed to be. I did check over the wiring in the CE and under the hood. Everything looks ok so far, even the engine wiring harness. I hooked up a power pack to the car and after changing all the fuses since some had corrosion on just the fuse blades, it seems that everything other than the windows and radio is working. The starter does start turning the motor, but my power pack didn't have enough juice to crank it all the way over. If it does start it'll just go straight into the garage (it's been too wet to do much outside the past week or so) to get the timing belt done and fuel lines replaced.

Oh, and since I've seen talking about charging post covers.

Looks like my 86.5, Prussian blue as well. Put it together, it's far too nice to just scrap.

I hoping with a replacement fuel pump (current one is seized) it'll run and drive. The hardest thing with this one is probably going to be the lack of title at the moment. The guy I got it from had his truck broken into and the paperwork was taken with it (sounds fishy, but the guy had the cops there and everything) so he's trying to get hold of a new title. If that falls through I need to figure something else out.

That looks like a find with potential! Congrats! Looks unmolested and wow, you have all the tools. Also, I think I saw the spare tire air compressor in the front seat? Very nice find.

Yep, there is a compressor. I wasn't sure if it was original or not. Also came with a collapsible spare that looks to be in good shape.

Speaking of which, is the clearcoat peeling on this car? I'm curious to see how it holds up.

I don't know that there's much clearcoat left anywhere to peel.

Well, with a new fuel pump the blue car started (after getting out 7 gallons of nasty old gas and putting in 5 gallons of fresh 93). The first 2 times it fired it died again quickly, but it kept idling the 3rd time. It built oil pressure quickly and went into gear with no problems. Drove it down out of the yard and 40 yards or so up the street to turn it around and backed it into the garage. Cleaned up most of the foliage under the hood and changed the oil.

It does seem like it's either running rough or maybe has a cylinder missing. It didn't seem shaky though. I'm sure it could use new plugs after sitting for 10 years or so, so I'm going to try and get some plugs for it (looks like I can get NGK coppers for it locally) tomorrow.

Currently the timing belt is high on the list to tackle. Two things you'll see the car complaining about in the videos are the brake fluid and the oil gauge blinking. The oil pressure seemed to be fine, and the oil level is fine (changed the oil in the garage), but the car is still upset. It's also flashing the brake fluid warning, but the reservoir is full and while the pedal is a bit stiff, the brakes do work. Going over the braking system is also fairly high on my list of things to do. Maybe some bad sensors are the issue?

My phone shat itself with the orientation on this one.

So still a lot of work to go, but it running and driving is reassuring.

I’d be focusing on fuel lines and vacuum lines ASAP.....

They are on the list too. I do have enough fuel line left from Carl to do most of the fuel lines. I have some vacuum hose sitting around still too. Fortunately the rubber parts on this car are in far better shape than the tan car so far.
