I have an 81 931. You most likely see it, being pulled behind a dodge dakota pickup, on the way to the shop.

I have two..

Both parts cars though.

My 87 was a very nice low miles car. (looked like wolf's, but with only 46k on it) Unfortunalty a wreck ended that.
My 88 I got as a parts car off of ebay after many years of use and an engine fire.

The parts however live on in all my other 944's.
The 87 has been most distrubuted over the years.

My 944-spec has as the 87's
head and headers along with fuel injector, DME,
rear suspension, tranny and left side front brake caliper.
Also is the dash board and instrument cluster an gas pedal.

My 944 Turbo S has the 87's
Torque tube, shift rod, powersteering rack, and shift lever

My 83 944 has the 87's
Steering wheel, seats, & shift boot

My 88 924 Dontated is engine to my 944 spec race car for a time, but I pulled that to rebuild it. Plenty of parts left on the 88 for future use

I have a black 924S, but yeah i know where your coming from. I don't see any 944/924's around despite thier being made in pretty significant numbers. The 924S was introduced to compete with cheap Japanese sports cars and was thus produced in quantity, yet i still have only seen mine and the 944 and 951 two kids at my high school have driving around.
