Are you selling any of the parts of your 924GT or are you getting ride of it as a whole? - Jay

Yo, Chuck. Did you get the e-mail I sent you?
Steve, did you use the GT-racing products for the 924GT project? I really like the look of the GT and have been contemplating a similar makover for my 924S? track car. The makevoer would also allow me to get some more rubber around the 4 corners.

Default 17's on the GT clone

Lemming,
Here's a pic of when the GT had 7.5 & 9.0X17 C2 rims. They fit with but a little massaging done to the pass. side flare.
This pic is from the '04 Rennsport @ Daytona.

I just picked up an 88 924S also. Was burgundy originally, now red. These make great 944 spec race cars. There's a NASA 944 spec group in Phoenix, AZ. Go to www.944spec.org.

I also recently picked up an 88. My plan is to freshen up the suspension and brakes and turn her into a track car. Hopefully Ill be on track by the end of the year. Should keep me busy learning since the car is the exact opposite of the V6 Golf I was driving.

Holy crap! I just picked up another 87 924S for $300. Oil mixing into the water. It'll get repaired and probably built up as another 944 spec car.
But get this! Driving home the other day, took a different route than normal. Drove by a trailer park and found a Martini 924. Pretty cool. It was completely covered except a small portion in the front where you could see the blue pin stripes.....

Thumbs up

I've got one. Fantastic car. I'm still learning how to drive it properly, but it handles awesome. My previous(and current) other 2 cars have been American Muscle, so this car is light, nimble, and small in comparison(and slow...).

I've got more in repairs/upgrades than I paid for the car, so you know I'm hooked.

I've got one of the few remaining DP's, although it was almost lost at Road Atlanta last year! It's 944 fendered, but honestagod 924 engine.

Love to share them, I've got hundreds as I campaign this car and build a history. Direct me as to who is interested.
As for the motor, it's really worked, full race motor. 2.0 L, big valve head, dry sump, dual sidedrafts, open exhaust goes right through the pass compartment. The sound is unmistakable and everyone comments how nice it is going by.
