Looks like I'm one of VERY few REAL (2.0) 924 owners here in Rennlist
I have '83 Euro 924 NA, it's my wifes daily driver for over a year now. Right now the car is in paint shop (old paint was faded), otherwise in excellent condition. I installed a keyless entry (+ alarm system) and power windows on it, did some minor modifications to the engine: big bore throttle body + 931 intake manifold (=bigger ports) and port matched the head. I lowered it a bit.
On the dyno it showed 112 rwhp (equals ~135 flywheel hp), nothing special but wife doesn't complain Engine runs great, oil pressure is 2 Bars @ idle, compression is excellent and it doesn't consume much oil (doesn't blacken it eather) Future plans are to convert it to EFI + propane device (don't know better word, sry).
Couple of days ago I got a good deal on 8.5J 18" turbo twists , they are replicas from a boxter and that leads me to 5-lug conversion. 17" Borbets (on the pics) are gone already.

Thanks, from most angles you can tell that the valance in the front sags a bit...I just need to get a 944 spoiler on the hatch to really balance out the agressive front. I guess I should get a real job instead of teaching snowboarding, oh well atleast there is a plus to the snow melting this year!

I've got a 87 Red/Black daily driver in Windsor/Detroit and just aquired another one Black/Black for parts or fix-up for my wife... I just have to look it over closer.

I just bought an 87 for a daily driver with 86k miles. I can't find my photo's at the moment so here is a link to my 924 turbo. It is an 81 in pristine condition and maybe for sale soon as I am running out of room. So if there is any interest let me know.
PaulStewart nice wheels. I am looking for something to put on the 87 924 I bought. Are those the front wheels from a C2 (7") all the way around? Do they bolt right up without spacers?
Thanks
Craig

Yes, they are Porsche C2 7 x 17 wheels with 205/50 x 17 tires, and they bolt right on with absolutley no issues even though my car is lowered.

Proud orginal owner of a 1987 924s red porsche, 280,000 miles. New Jersey , don't really ever see the 924s. love this car and she has treated me well over the year. She has now become my sunday drive, or just on a sunny day.

My wife drives a 1988 924 S with Turbo S sway bars, adjustable Konis, strut brace, x-drilled rotors, D90s with new track tires on them and SS brake lines. Coming soon will be her roll bar that we are getting installed so she can do more DE. The thing is a BLAST. Most under rated Porsche ever made (and I am a 914 guy saying this). - Jay

Default Totaled, but not forgotten!

This is what my G.P. White 924GT clone looked like, before a neighbor back out of his driveway last year and killed her. I'm toying with the idea of building another right after I sell the Carrera slant nose project I've been working on for the past 7 months.
