Default FS: 10.6 Euro Pistons (SOLD)

I have a spare set of 10.6cr Euro pistons that will fit any 2.5na. They are all tolerance group 1 and measure within tolerance at the tops, bottoms and in two planes. The ring gaps are to spec. The rings were removed and discarded when the pistons were cleaned, the pins were put back in the same piston after cleaning. They will take stock factory rings. There is minute wear to the coating on the skirts and tiny scratches not able to catch a nail. There is no damage from valve contact or contamination, some usual discoloration to the tops.

These would be suitable for anyone currently doing an engine build or who is planning one in the near future.

Asking $600 obo shipped in the CONUS

Ohh, the Asian kid. If I had the cash right now, I'd buy them. Want anything in a trade? 18" track wheels? Lots of vinyl signs? ABS system? Rear diffuser?

These must be stronger as they are the exact same KS piston as US NA, size, shape, construction. Only difference is that there is not as much of a cut-out on the tops. More metal=stronger in my book.

Though 10.6cr with boost frightens me.

the problem with NA pistons seems to be the upper ring land rather than the face of the piston, where the euro and US pistons should probably be the same thickness (at the edges)

high CR just means you need some good fuel and tuning...

I wish you had put these up for sale 2 years ago when I rebuilt my engine - I also would have loved to put euro pistons in my car!

It's a great deal for someone though

They are the same size as US NA pistons, even the valve cut-outs are the same. If you are running stock na pistons your cam will clear with these Euro pistons.

You will notice in the picture below that the stock 944 US na piston @ 9.5cr is the 3rd one, same as the 924S. The Euro piston is the 4th one @ 10.6cr. The only difference is the Euro isn't dished out as much, almost a flat-top. The dished area is nowhere near the valves.

they will clear a stock cam for sure. I have these exact pistons in my turbo engine with the head cut down .050.

Currently working on solving a HG issue that I believe is head stud related. I will say that these make for a nice driving street car.

much stronger as they are forged and the ring lands are almost exact to the turbo pistons
