I know it's off topic, but I feel it is my duty as a human to share....
As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end. There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more." No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat.
It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood."
So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this:

BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE--
You walk across a lot to your car, unlock your car, and get inside.
You start the engine and put it into Reverse....
When you look into the rear-view mirror to back out of your space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you stop and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.
When you reach the back of your car that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically run you over as they speed off in your car.
And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!
BEWARE OF THIS NEW CARJACKING SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

I'm somewhat ambivalent about this, as i can't help but think if this were really true, it'd be in our gas already.... but, I'm hopeful that a 10~15% increase in fuel economy might be possible. would help pay for those long 3~6 gears.

I always run 3oz acetone per 10 gal petrol in my cars and bike, even in my lawnmower.
When I replaced a headgasket (wife overheated car) on a 225K mile Civic, the valves, chambers, piston tops were spotless.
Acetone is a propane molecule with an oxygen molecule attached. Liquid turbo propane anyone. I have seen quite a few cars with bad cats pass smog easily on a 5-6oz./ 10 gal petro mixture. It also restores the power on carbed bikes when you ride to higher elevations (trip to Colo. comes to mind) due to low O2 in the atmosphere.

Thanks for that acetone tip. I'll do some experimenting.

Fuel lines from the engine bay back. New pump and new filter.
Brake lines and caliper rebuild. New booster.
Timing belts and all the fun stuff that goes with it. Water pump rebuild if needed. Seals as needed.
Replace/repair exhaust headers and system.
Change form Autothority to Vitesse.
New bushings all around and replacement suspension parts as needed. M030 parts preferred.
Left front fender bumper and nose panel replacement (someone welded the panels together when they were fixing it...). Going to get vented nose panel.
All that leads me to the frame welding that seems to be from a repair but is very pitted and rusting. Either way and no matter the source I have to address and fix that before any of this above stuff is going to be any good.
