Just ordered the "truck adapter" for the Eastwood fender roller... roll it, performance alignment, fresh fluids, and DRIVE!

a great deed of horror has been done to another Porsche.
it appears someone decided to offend God yet again....
after removing his 968 Airbag Wheel... instead of throwing it into the dumpster,
the offender suffered his hard earned wages to a craftsman that he would recover the wheel in leather.

and upon seeing the 968 oem airbag wheel, God repented that he made man...
and for his great offense against the Most High, the Lord God appointed that his days on Earth would be shortened...
and God spake to his Archangel Michael who's name God knew before the foundation of the world,
that day of judgment doth come.

well, let's see... i hope to solve the coolant puking/overheating/potential HG issue, fix the recent power steering issue, cure the annoyingly rough idle, eliminate the stumble/boost issue at 5k rpm, replace all vacuum lines, upgrade to 18" rims, repair the sunroof that is currently non-op, put on a proper exhaust, possibly add an MAF kit, fix a few minor cosmetic issues and then, hopefully, get to drive a properly running 951.

During my time off over Christmas I will be doing my first timing belt change with front engine reseal. shortly thereafter a power stearing rack replace or overhaul. When it warms up I am going to vinyl wrap the car either carbon fiber or Riviera blue.

Since I am no longer using the 944 for DD as of 1 month ago, I can take my time and take things apart. Currently rebuilding both ball joints. About half way done. Once she's on the road again, I will begin stripping the interior for the linen to black conversion. Timing belt change in the near future (before summer) Hopefully in the summer I can throw in the rogue MAF kit. Also a set of sport shocks that need to go in. Plasti-dip wheels for the time being since the finish is poor. That should keep me busy without breaking the bank Trying to get her all set up so I can finally start throwing money at the motor rebuild.

for anyone living in the Northeast....
i'm needing to swap in a functioning H20 pump for not-too-many hundreds of dollars
so i can get the car to Texas, for my LS7 swap.
any help would be hugely appreciated.
one other possibility;
pull my engine and it's yours in exchange for $$$ to cover a portion of the cost to ship the car to Eric Hill's shop in Texas.
engine has 196,000 of mostly highway miles. runs fine except a leaking H20 pump...
also had a 1-time head gasket issue that was solved via hg sealer.
engine has had all M1 during it's life and burns about 1/2 quart every 7,500 miles.
it would be cool to see this core building your dream 3.0.
just pm.

How about I fly up to you, get your car, drive it to Texas, pull the engine, deliver car to Eric.
