I try not to underestimate anyone who tries to race me. There are some real sleepers out there. I usually ignore them, tho. Don't really care to do anything stupid on the street. Have I? Of course! Anyone who says they haven't is more than likely lying (or at least I don't believe them).

There is a video on youtube of a beater CRX with a turbo beating a Lambo Murc. Had to be embarrassing for the Lamborghini.

The last time I made a stupid decision like this was when I was 18 and ran from cops in a WRX. Yeah... and I was arrested. That sucked.

At least that WRX had some *****!

eBay turbo kit with a "self tuner" he claims his lap top tunes are better than a dyno tune! BHAHA

I had another time on the bike I saw a Lambrogini up ahead on the highway, I rolled up on him and he took the bait and gunned it, I backed off at 140 and waited for him and then showed him a "123,go" and we took off again, we did this 3-4 times and he finally gave me a "thumbs up" and we both enjoyed it just about this time a bondo Nova shows up and wants to run so I give him the "123, go" and he takes off well the Lambro and I did not and the Nova backs off to us again and we are laughing are asses off so I raise my hand one more time and go 1....2....and can't stop laughing, the Nova got fed up and just drove away the Lambro and I finally just waved good by and drove off....one of the best races I was ever in and just goes to show Ricers drive all kinds of cars.

i honestly don't think i've ever had any run ins with the rice...i've had a few spirited runs with nice cars like a z4 s-drive and a lotus esprit twin turbo (2002ish model). The first of which was awesomely fun, but a little scary, and the second of which was before i had the swap done and i got my *** handed to me on a silver platter...lol.

i think for the most part ricers are deathly afraid of my car...it's loud and deep exhaust note probably shakes their windows more than their wimpy little subs...and the blacked out look can't make them feel confident

Talking

I don't fool around with Ricers, seen them doing thing that will really but your life in danger ,so either I let them go by or just pull aside. Yet I'm sure my car could smoke them all to hell not many ricers can follow you at over 155 mph what I'm saying is I don't have anything to prove by racing with them.

Here is one little econobox I respect.

Sure it looks a little funny, but..

National Championship this year.
TTS = 2:04.095 - 2nd class (Time Trial car)

So Faster than.
Multiple Corvettes 2:04.169 - 2:12.967
Lotus Exige cup = 2:08.452
WRX STI = 2:06.381

The entire GTS4 class including a GT3, and 2 911's RSRs (unkown vintage)

and a 944 with V8 swap (2:10.243)

I could go on.

My street days are long gone.
50kph over the posted limit = car impounded 7 days, license suspension, up to $10k fine, and possible jailtime.

Reving your engine with another car, other car races away, and you pull away like an old lady = exact same charges for BOTH!

Yup my days are done. The little Datsun that could is no longer needed, and was just sold. Too many idiots wanted to race it, and the cars long standing sleeper reputation made it "the car to beat". Not many cars would take me on for $$, and I live in a major muscle car town. I haven't raced it for years. It was hard to not "go fast" in it, and when that "street racing, speeding, stunting" law came into effect, I saw the writing on the wall, and "got out of it".

I like cruising with the top down way better...And I don't smell like exhaust/gas after driving it around.

The ricer hangout scene in my area is dead, thanks to the law, and their fancy helicopter!

I prefer to think about the "good ole days" when ever I get the urge to be dumb.
