haha, come on up and see the beast doug!!

good advice once again on the r compounds...i'm going to be getting something a little wider in terms of wheels first, i'm thinking 9's all the way around and then maybe a 265??? i don't want to go staggered because i'll end up with a ton of rear tire (knowing me) and start blowing cv's/transmissions

You'll be hard pressed to get a 265 on the front.

With that power, you want 275 or 285 in the rear and 245 in the front. (Or be a ***** and do 265 rear 225 front.)

If you don't want to wear rear tires, or stress the transmission/CV joints, you shouldn't have done the V8 swap in the first place. You have the NA tranny in there? That'll pop soon enough.

Poorly, in my opinion. Porsche put 245s on the 220 HP turbo...

i'm okay having the weakest link in the rear being the tires right now...i can take it easy up to third...maybe

my list of things to do is:
sand down to bare metal/primer and reprime and seal
Lexus Brake upgrade
Turbo Transmission
take in to a body shop to have the imperfections/dents removed and fixed
wider wheels and tires
real paint

Just out of curiosity, what kind of headers did you use? I hear the LS1 conversion have all sorts of issues trying to find headers that fit.

i used patriot headers because they were nice and cheap, and had been used on an LT conversion before...they do require a little bit of smacking to the frame rail if you want them to both fit with the flanges
