Finally got around to removing the gauge cluster, replaced the broken odometer gear and had to get the scratches out from my microfiber interior dust cloth. Couldn’t be happier with Meguires clear plastic polish - used my wife’s makeup applicator pads to apply the polish. Took the plastic glass out and did both sides....looks like new!!!

^Looks incredible.

Did you coat the plastic with anything, similar to polishing and coating plastic headlight covers?

No coating used - just a good polishing and then a meticulous lint free wipe down before reassemble. Now my cluster lights don’t work....guess I found my next project....

Steve
PO had the gauge faces in -I added the chrome rings and really like how they add some detail to the interior. Haven’t gotten back into the lights yet. Going to rain here tomorrow and part of Saturday-will get back in there to figure it out. The faces themselves are illuminated, so without any instructions in their circuitry I’ll end up probing around with the multimeter to figure out where the break in power is. Anyone encounter these gauge faces before?

Update-got back into the gauge install tonight and must’ve jiggled a wire back into connection as the lights are back on!

I've been going a little cabin-fevery and online shopping is dangerous.

Rennline Aluminum Pedal Set - 3 Piece - Perforated, black

Warning light LEDs from superbrightLEDs as per post #43 https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...ence-post.html

1986-1991 Porsche 944 Mpg Gauge White Face Gauges (Install Kit: Yes (+4.99), Face Color: Mint Face (+30.00) S2-38) - From whitegauges.net. I only intend to use the tachometer one for a Singer inspired look. Hoping this will look good with a freshly refurbished housing, the warning light LEDs, Perrys reflector LEDs and brushed ali rings.

944-968 Switch Overlays from Garage9

Auto Chaps ac100 - taking a chance on these. My drivers seat upper outer bolster is wearing and this sounds good but I might use it for a pattern and remake it in black leather.

Some more bits for part of my respray plus a few extras

Beautiful 924S. We're you adding a BBS aero kit to it at one stage?

Thanks! I have indeed two compete Original Porsche BBS aero kits but I haven't put one on yet . I don't like very much the idea of drilling holes on the car to mount the kit but they are original after all. Guess I will eventually put them on , probably sometime this summer . All car bodyshops being closed since March down here ….

I am toying with the idea to install the original porsche BBS bodykit on my 924S. What did you use to mount these 944 valance parts ? screws , adhesive or both ?
