What did you do to your 924/944 today
#766
Stripped carpet from the $200 83.
Cleaned the rotor and cap, started the motor, sounds real good.
Idled 15 minutes and held temperature solid.
Lights, fan, heater all work. A/c too.
No movement in forward or reverse (automatic)
Wondering why.

I took it for an 80 mile drive, then soaked it in P21S for half an hour before washing off two full days' worth of track dirt over city car patina.
Also, I dug a trench to the new temporary building which will be housing the car for the winter. This is a major improvement over my barn storage solution from last year!

replaced maf with a new one, and totally renewed the engine. Runs smoothly as butter, constant speed jerkiness on 2-4th gears is gone, + nice power gains +4000rpm. not bad!
funny thing that one couldn't really tell that maf was broken, but it was little off the required limits when measuring 'em.
